Jordan Rosenberg at Beermann handled my divorce proceedings from beginning to end, which lasted about 18 months. I contacted Jordan Rosenberg and Shana Vitek regarding a rather sticky divorce matter. In the course of refinancing on a property, I discovered that my divorce from 8 years ago had not actually been entered in the Circuit Court of Cook County, and therefore, the case had been dismissed. I had not b...een notified of this, and I had assumed wrongly that the divorced had been finalized. I was distraught and completely overwhelmed to discover that it hadn't been. When I contacted Jordan and Shana, they were immediately responsive and reassuring. Just to do my due diligence, however, before hiring them, I consulted with another lawyer. This other lawyer wanted to charge double the price that Jordan and Shana would, and, on top of that, he was not optimistic about my case's success. He wasn't confident that he could find precedent to argue for my case. He essentially advised me not to pursue it. Thankfully, I didn't listen to him. I hired Jordan and Shana, and within 5 months, the matter was resolved to my complete satisfaction with the divorce being entered retroactively.
