I was in a very complicated situation that involved an order of protection against my ex and then getting subpoenaed to his custody case and having to be a witness. My exes attorneys used my testimony against me and then submitted a motion to try to dismiss my order of protection. Being a victim of a...buse causes a lot of trauma and unfortunately victims often do not have the resources and support that they need. I felt completely lost and helpless.
