I hired this law to represent me in a simple misdemeanor battery and order of protection case. He off the bat seemed overwhelmed which was surprising given that he had been practicing for 9 years. Over the course of 3 months he filed no motion asked for no subpoena and did zero investigation. When I uncovered information showing my innocence, I turned it over to him to give the police. When he failed to do so I went directly to the police who looked at the information and agreed to reopen and investigate the case. They were in fact very willing to come to court and testify, they just needed my lawyer to subpeona them. He did not.

Brett and his firm has helped me in a few situations. Specifically, they were able to help me at the last minute when I needed someone to go with my wife to a hastily-scheduled deposition. Brett is very helpful, and has offered a lot of insight to help me in my personal and professional life.
I'm glad to have Brett on my side.

I had a Misdemeanor Speeding Ticket. I was very scared of the possibility of jail time or a significant fine. The attorneys at Appelman's law firm were able to help me out tremendously.
We ended up having to go to court a few times to take care of the ordeal (my fault) and the team at Appelman Law Firm was flexible.

I found that I had a warrant (due to a non appear civil judgement that I was not aware of, my fault) . Brett within days found the reason, took my documentation filed a motion to quash. Originally there was an appearance date set for me, after the filing to quash, all is good, no appearance necessary.
