Post divorce issues...

Beth Tabor is not only knowledgeable of the laws regarding divorce but also caring. I had issues post divorce that needed to be revisited. She explained my options clearly. If needed, I would definitely hire her again.

I feel that she preformed unnecessary email at my expense. Maybe i did not ask the right questions, but she really Never gave me a good " what could or will probably Happen."

This client should have addressed any issue he had with my representation during his case. I am happy to discuss any questions about case process, actions, possible outcomes, and in fact did so throughout this case. Family law issues are inherently stressful on the parties. When an outcome is not well received, it is not always the fault of the attorney involved.

Very disappointed

I was pleased when hiring Ms. Tabor to handle my divorce. It was a very simple case with no disagreements between my ex and I. She gave me the price and said this would cover everything unless problems arose. There were no problems, we basically just needed someone to do the paperwork. After the divo...rce was final, I received a bill for almost $1,000! This after never having any communication from her to update me on the process or let me know what was going on. I felt very very misled and overcharged.

While I cannot comment on the specifics, I am very clear with new clients that any retainer amount is not a guarantee of complete costs. Even "agreed" cases can involve multiple correspondence and mandatory court dates. I also communicate frequently with every client on the process in the case, and respond to client inquiries as soon as possible. If this particular client wishes to contact me to review his or her billing statements, I am happy to dicuss them.

Waste of Time and Money

I hired Ms. Tabor as my divoce attorney. This was a short lived relationship. We did not have good communication. She filed my papers prematurely and then did not refile them when I asked. She "fired" me and sighted our communication issues. Although initially upsetting to have this occur during... an already upsetting time, I quickly saw this was a blessing in disquise. When I went to another attorney I learned the paper work she had prepared had flaws. I believe she recognized the complexity of my case and was not up for the challenge. In the meantime I wasted money and time working with Ms. Tabor.

It is unfortunate that this client did not have a satisfactory result. I invite open communication with clients, and have never been informed by any court of any flawed filings.
