I would like to thank Brandon Davis and the staff at The Davis Law Group in Northfield, Illinois. After being pulled over for aggravated speeding on my way back to Indiana and receiving a must appear in court citation. I decide to seek the protection of an attorney to represent me in the state of Illinois. Brandon worked hard for me and was able to amend my traffic violation to a petty speeding offense. Which saved me time and other possible repercussions that I could have faced from the Illinois court without having Brandon on my side. I strongly recommend Brandon Davis and his firm. They were transparent and extremely easy to work with. Thank you again.

Found the firm on Yelp.
After reading the reviews, I emailed to them, and I received a reply promptly.
Brandon helped us with my kid's traffic violation.
He was clear in explaining our case and the outcome.
We were to meet at the courthouse. He even got there before we did.
In summary, surprised to see that Brandon is a young man, he's professional and knows exactly what he's doing. His fees was reasonable. And the outcome of our case was better than we had expected. Money well spent, and we are happy.

I was charged with Aggravated Speeding ( a Class B Misdemeanor). When I first called Brandon for a consultation, he was very honest and transparent with all of my potential outcomes. Out of all the lawyers I called - and trust me I called a lot - He had the best communication and was the most trustworthy option. He was very knowledgeable about the courthouse and the judges. Given I had a good previous driving record he was able to amend the misdemeanor to a petty speeding offense with 4 months court supervision and no additional conditions required. If I ever need a traffic lawyer again (which hopefully I won't) I would hire Mr. Brandon Davis in a heartbeat.

I received a speeding ticket for doing 31 miles per hour over the posted speed limit as I didn't see the reduction in speed signs to 35 mph when approaching the toll booth on the Chicago Skyway.
I initially believed that this would just result in a fine and traffic school to have it removed from my record so I was greatly surprised and concerned when I realized that it was a Class B misdemeanor that if on my record could affect my insurance rates and be seen by future landlords, employers, mortgage lenders, etc.
I requested consultation from various lawyers that I found online via their websites. Brandon was the only lawyer to return my request AND he contacted me on the same day I put in the request.
Even more importantly though - when Brandon contacted me, he didn't treat me like I thought a lawyer would - he didn't just tell me to pay a fee and say that 'he would try to take care of it'. Brandon talked to me like a person who had a problem and he wanted to help fix it. He listened patiently to all the details I gave him about the problem as well as all questions and concerns that I had. He then explained to me in detail all the steps that he would take to try and resolve the situation as well as doing his best to alleviate my concerns (e.g. letting me know that based on having a clean record that I wasn't going to be going to jail or paying the maximum fine that the misdemeanor carried). After speaking to him for 20 minutes I felt MUCH better about the entire situation. I was then assuming that his fee would quite substantial but was pleasantly surprised when he told me that he charged a flat rate that was a fraction of what I thought a good lawyer would cost for this type of situation.
In the month leading up to my court date Brandon was always readily accessible to answer all questions I had from whether or not I would have to have the charge expunged from my record to if I was required to wear a suit to court. I assume that he handles dozens if not more cases at a time, but I always felt like he was just 'my attorney'.
On the day of my court case he had me show up early to speak with him. Upon meeting he explained to me that he had already spoken to the State's attorney and they agreed to have the misdemeanor reduced to a petty offense and that I just had to pay the minimum fine and would be under court supervision for the minimum time frame - no traffic school or community service. He also got my case moved up on the docket - I was in and out of the Daley Center in less than 30 minutes.
After receiving my traffic ticket I was expecting that getting a lawyer and having to go to court to be an extremely frustrating and stressful experience. I consider myself very fortunate to have found Brandon to help me with the process. As I said in my review title, he is a great lawyer but he's also a great person to work with. He actually cares about his clients and puts them at ease during a rough time - you don't find that everyday. While I hope to never need his services in the future, if I do find myself in need of legal assistance he will be the first and only person I contact.

My husband had out of state tickets and suspended licence over them. I sent Brandon and email asking for help. Brandon called asap. Brandon was professional, kind and fast. I was so glad I went with my gut and contacted Brandon Davis. My husband was so proud of me getting this lawyer, he had his doubt's(chicago types) but Brandon puts other lawyers to shame!
Brandon, we will always consider you the "Best Chicago Lawyer" we ever had the pleasure to meet. Thank you so much.

Being new to the area, I did not realize the speed limit decrease to 45 mph going towards the Skyway Bridge. I learned the hard way that 26 mph and over in IL was a Class B Misdemeanor in my case. Due to the many positive reviews on AVVO.com, I called Brandon Davis who returned my call within hours.
As soon as my case was entered into the court system Brandon was able to meet with the prosecutor and judge to reduce my charge to a petty speeding violation, waive my court appearance, and have supervision granted by the court.
Brandon communicates in a timely manner to inquiries (a big deal in my case), treats clients with respect, and handles your case with care. I couldn't recommended him more highly. I found his many positive reviews on this site to be well earned and reflective of his services. Would certainly call on him again if needed.

While traveling through Chicago alone (from MI to WI to visit family ) I was pulled over for using my GPS function on my phone and wrongly accused of texting. I was also going excessively over the IL speed limit of 55. The state trooper was unfortunately very irate and treated me very poorly despite my ready compliance. I did not understand the traffic laws and when attempting to ask was dismissed in the same nature I had been treated. It's very unfortunate that power means treating American citizens as subordinates. Regardless, I was breaking the law and as a result found myself with 2 tickets and a $2000 signature bond release (thankfully he let me go on a signature bond as I was from out of state and driving alone). After doing a Google search, I found AVVO and decided I could search for a lawyer confidently. Brandon came up as highly rated, but more importantly (and why I ultimately clicked on his name) he had significantly more reviews than his other highly rated peers (his 50 some to their 10). Upon reading the reviews, I found myself identifying with many of his clients: first time pulled over for aggravated speeding in IL, unfamiliar with tragic violations, made to feel like a horrible person, and on the other end of the experience, treated with care and respect by Brandon, given a thorough explanation with possible outcomes, straightforward communication, and kept informed throughout the process.
I knew that what I needed most was to feel like a human being again and treated gently instead of harshly.
My husband and I scheduled a free phone consult and Brandon lived up to the reviews we had read. He was honest about the cost, the process, and the outcomes. He apologized for how I was treated by the officer. He told me this was not something to lose sleep over. My husband asked how his fees compared to other lawyers and he gave us a straightforward answer: not the highest and not the lowest. We decided to hire him. He was very prompt with returning our phone calls and responding to our emails, always confirming he had received the paperwork we had sent him. We appreciated the care he took with us prior to my mandatory court date. On the day of the court date we were very pleased with his consistent character. The courtroom was VERY busy that day and Brandon had several other cases simultaneously being handled in the same courtroom. It was very impressive how he checked in with us, religiously letting us know the status. And often times there was nothing new to report, but he checked in nonetheless to let us know we were not forgotten. Made us feel very at ease about what could have otherwise been a confusing environment. As the accused, I felt very calm and confident things would end well. It was a bit of a wait due to the courtroom case load, but as we waited in the hallway we were aware of how other lawyers were handling their clients. Some were very brusque in their manner. I was very appreciative of the caring manner that Brandon chooses to handle his clients. When Brandon came to tell us it had been settled, it was the best possible outcome. My aggravated speeding was reduced to petty speeding. The fine was the lowest possible. No traffic school, no community service, and the second ticket for cell phone use was dismissed. And then there was supervision costs. (All these things will be explained to you on detail during your phone consultation.) I appeared before the judge, but did not have to say a word. The judge was kind and winked at me after saying, "try to be more careful in the future." I can't say for sure, but I believe that Brandon's reputation precedes him in the court as well.
He was professional, caring, and thorough. If you find yourself in situation where you are facing thousands of dollars and months in prison (effective scare tactics) and feeling like a terrible person because of a speeding ticket, give Mr. Brandon Davis a call. He will treat you and your case with respect.

Had my first speeding ticket and took Brandon on to help me with the ticket. He told me the possible outcomes and when scheduling conflicts arose he went in earlier than the court date to reach a possible resolution. Everything came out better than expected with court fees and court supervision. I came out satisfied and relieved on my first and hopefully last speeding ticket in life. The cost is roughly what others charge in the area and the service provided was perfect overall.

Needed an attorney last minute for a misdemeanor traffic violation. Called their office and Brandon was able to meet my needs in short notice and exceeded my expectations.
Great person and very professional. I definitely recommend
