From 1977 through 2012, I was an attorney for the U.S. Department of Interior representing the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Reclalmation, Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, and U.S. Fish and Willdlife Service. I handled a wide range of issues including government contracts, grants, and agreements, environmentsl and natural resources law, Reclamation law, Indian law, torts, administrative law, Indian Self Determination Act contracts, timber sale contracts, and water law. In 2012 I opened a private practice and am working with the Crow Tribal government to develop a Tribal Water Code and water use rules and regulations.
I live in Billings, Montana, with my wife and son. I enjoy reading, outdoor activities, photography, and scuba diving.
