About me

I relocated to the Rochester, Minnesota area in 2015 after spending six years residing and practicing in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., I focused my practice primarily on immigrant and non-immigrant visas, family and employment-based green cards, deportation defense, and asylum matters. This practice has allowed me to assist businesses in expanding their workforce to be more competitive, assist foreign-born individuals to be reunited with their family members, and prevent removal from the U.S. to a country where an individual’s life would be in danger. I have represented individuals all over the world and traveled nationally to represent individuals in their immigration matters. Through my years of practice I have learned that being an attorney means being both a counselor and a strong advocate to your clients.

I served as Chair for the D.C. Congressional Legislation committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). I also participate in the AILA military assistance program which is a partnership between AILA and the military Judge Advocacy General Corps.

Originally born in Raleigh, North Carolina I graduated with a double major in Political Science and Communications from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. I graduated law school from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, NC with a concentration in trial advocacy.
