About me

With over 38 years of experience as a trial lawyer, Paul Schweiger focuses his trial practice on cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and catastrophic personal injury. Paul has obtained multiple recoveries for his clients in excess of a million dollars and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national merit organization consisting of approximately 700 of the most accomplished attorneys in America.

Martindale-Hubbell, the most respected legal directory in the legal community, has given Paul an AV Preeminent rating, its highest peer review rating for legal ability and ethical standards.

As a result of Paul's advocacy on behalf of his clients and his commitment to courtroom excellence, he has received state and national recognition and membership in prestigious trial organizations. Paul is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation only trial organization which recognizes the very best of the courtroom bars of the United States and Canada. Paul was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2000.

Paul was again selected as a 2014 Minnesota Super Lawyer honoree in the area of Personal Injury Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff. Paul has been a Minnesota Super Lawyer honoree every year since 2003.

Paul was also again selected by The Best Lawyers in America for inclusion in 2015 in the areas of Medical Malpractice Law and Personal Injury Litigation. Paul has been selected by The Best Lawyers of America every year since 2003.

In 2010 Paul was recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as one of its "Attorneys of the Year", an award reserved for a select group of Minnesota attorneys.

Paul is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and a Minnesota State Bar Association Certified Civil Trial Law Specialist.
