Highest Recommendation

I had the privilege of being represented by Ryan Garry's firm. I was charged with a DUI and the outlook was less than ideal. I had never been in any type of legal trouble and had no idea how to navigate the path ahead of me, let alone deal with the shock of the event I had been through. Ryan took t...ime out ot his schedule to meet with me in person, and walk me through all of the options and the process for my case. I was in the best hands and that feeling was continued throughout the entirety of my case. I was very nervous and constantly anxious, I was emailing questions very regularly and was always met with prompt and thorough responses, all of which had the tone of calmness and reassurance. I was kept up-to-date on each and every step of the process, being cc'ed on any emails/communications that pertained to my case. I was guided to be proactive in my steps before my plea, given all the information to attend panels and assessments - which showcased my good faith and remorse. During the process, there was not a day that went by that I was not grateful that I had been referred to Ryan Garry. Even now, in hindsight, I am just as appreciative for the holistic positive experience that I had come out of such a horrible mistake. It's truly a blessing to have the legal matters be handled so professionally, but to also have the confidence and reassurance of peace of mind in such circumstances.

Great services

I can't thank Ryan and his team enough! The entire team, including Elizabeth and Shelly, were professional, respectful, and timely. From the moment we contacted them (in the middle of the night no less) I knew I was in good hands. Ryan is an expert in his field and knows the ins and outs of a very... complex system. He got me out of jail much sooner (1.5 days) than expected. He even sent someone to speak to me in jail which eased my worries. He kept me informed every step of the way and explained what was happening clearly. The team then got me the best deal possible with the prosecution. Instead of being charged with two crimes I was not convicted of anything and was awarded a stay of adjudication, which is the most favorable outcome. I would have been completely lost without Ryan during this whole experience and would have had much worse results. I would definitely recommend him and his team to anybody!

The BEST!

Ryan is incredible! His whole office is so friendly. I was accused of harassment by my ex husbands fiancé and she obtained an ex parte HRO against me even though I live across the country. I was entirely satisfied with the results and from my 1st consult with Ryan over the phone - I knew no matter wh...at that he had to be my lawyer. I was informed via email or phone call every time a letter came in or out of the office on my case which made me feel involved. He still works to this day addressing questions from time to time about the case when I have them. I was involved in a family case at the same time in Texas and Ryan made plenty of time to conference call my divorce lawyer to make sure my legal team was on the same page. Ryan wasn't judgemental to my situation & you won't regret having him in your corner. He was available to me anytime & even stepped out of meetings to take my call. He's top knotch & easy to communicate with. His paralegal Shelly is equally wonderful. They love what they do & they're very good at it. You're in the best possible hands when you hire them. Ryan is what every lawyer should be.

Saved my career

I am a medical doctor who suffered a severe injustice for which I had no recourse (i.e. no physical proof beyond he said/she said). Years later, I was accused of a low-level non-violent crime that I (may have) committed in retaliation; but my actions were justified in my ethical code, given the egre...giousness of the trespass against me and my family. However, I knew the law wouldn't see it that way. When the Hennepin County police contacted HR at my new employer in Seattle, I already knew two things: 1. Don't EVER talk to the police and 2. Get legal help ASAP (like that very hour). I paid an hourly rate to a nice but not aggressive MN lawyer to talk with the cops, who was able to tell me the evidence the detectives had, but dropped me right there. He left me to suffer the daily tension headaches and sweaty apprehension of not knowing whether or not I was going to get charges. Gross misdemeanor charges mean I am immediately fired from a high end job, according to the contract with my employer. After two weeks of not knowing if I would be charged, I was going crazy, drinking and shutting down mentally, considering purchasing a firearm. No way was I going to last the full year that police and district attorney generally spend deciding if they have enough to file charges. At that point, I called Ryan Garry. I had done my internet research and reviewed his numerous helpful YouTube law tutorials. He heard my case with compassion. He will interview you from all angles, of course determining the facts of the case, discussing hostile and friendly witnesses, discussing the evidence; but he also dives into the secondary problems our "speedy" trial system can create. He asks about home life and mental health, and it is the holistic approach I think that sets him apart from other lawyers. Regardless of the guilt or not, a defendant needs to be as mentally healthy as other "not guilty" defendants, should they ever need to appear in court. He put me at ease, telling me right away that my crime would not be punishable by any jail time. He is quickly responsive, even on his court days. Due to my draconian contract, he knew that preventing charges was top priority. Thankfully, he knew the particular law enforcement officers involved in my case, and he made contact. By pointing out weaknesses in their evidence, he was able to persuade the police to close my file and not send my case to the D.A. in the first place! Ryan Garry JD is worth every penny! Maybe the law lost last week, but common sense justice won, and I believe Ryan understands the difference. If you don't believe me, YouTube Ryan Garry and watch 20 or so short (<2 min) vids. Thank you Ryan! I have stopped daily drinking alcohol as you know, and your great outcome has given me a renewed sense of purpose for my work!

State vs KK in Lyon County - March 2012

Ryan was hired to defend a foreign student who was charged with First Degree Burglary, First Degree Assault-Liability for Crimes of Another, Third Degree Assault-Liability for Crimes of Another and First Degree Burglary-Liability for Crimes of Another. Ryan took over this case from another Attorney w...ho I had hired, and had to dismiss due to his poor handling of the case. Ryan work very diligently on this case and kept us informed about the case at all times. We always knew what was going on. At trial, no one could have predicted the obstruction Ryan faced to simply represent his client in court, and play by the rules of the criminal justice system. This case was not an easy one and many lawyers in Ryan's position would not have been able to achieve the outcome that he did. Three of the most serious charges were found by a jury to be not guilty and the least serious charge was a guilty verdict. The plea offer from the prosecutor was to plead guilty to burglary assault and spend 72 months in prison. Ryan did not accept this offer. This case involved three other defendants, one pleaded guilty to burglary assault and offered to testify for the government. The two other defendants are currently in prison. These were just a few college students who had too much to drink and got into a fight. The aggressor in this case was the victim of an injury. The state main witness lied at trial. People like Ryan makes the criminal justice system work. Ryan's method of defending his clients are honorable and he has good work ethics. It was two long days of trial, after the jury verdicts, everyone in court praised Ryan for a job well done even though we did not get four not guilty verdicts. Ryan made a difference in his client's life and that is something we will never forget. I will recommend Ryan Garry to anyone who needs an attorney.
