First, if you are in court for any reason you need to hire a lawyer. Like it or not, they know the system and are your only chance for your best outcome. The previous two sentences are easily the best advice you will get today. The court system, for any infraction at all, is a maze that does not reward the unprepared.
I am here to recommend Christian R. Peterson specifically. I interviewed five lawyers before I hired him. He is smart, honest, professional, hardworking, personable, and has experience prosecuting and defending. He knows the law and the court system and will explain it to you along with your options and then work to achieve the best outcome for you.
In my entire life, I have had the need for just one lawyer and I am happy I hired Christian for guidance. I will now use him for future work in business, real estate, and estate planning as well.
Hope this helps someone.

I had a misdemeanor assault conviction from 1998 that I needed expunged for work. When Christian filed the expungement in April 2014, the new law hadn't yet been passed.
After the law passed Christian advised me that I would benefit by postponing the hearing and refilling the motion for a January 2015 hearing. This advise paid off with a successful unopposed granting of my expungement.
Christian was patient with all my questions and worries. He was extremely knowledgeable about the process and professional. I would definitely recommend Christian for anyone's legal needs.

I called Christian after being arrested for a DWI. I was facing criminal and civil penalties and had many questions. Christian was patient, thorough, and helped guide me through this process. His dedication, assertiveness and attention to detail helped in reaching a favorable outcome. I absolutely recommend Christian's legal services.

Our teenage daughter was recently involved in an auto accident and was facing misdemeanor charges of "endangering life and property." After interviewing 3 different attourneys we felt very confident in hiring Christian. Throughout the entire process Christian took his time to get all the facts, gather every possible piece of evidence, worked with and negotiated with the prosecuting attourney, he literally left no stone unturned. He also met with us as many times as needed and kept us fully informed as the process unfolded, it was very evident he was truly interested in helping us. We received very professional service top to bottom, everything was done in a timely fashion and he was real easy to work with, he knows what he's doing. As an end result our daughter no longer faces these charges and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. If we we're to ever find ourselves in a similar situation in the future we would not hesitate to hire Christian again!

I called Christian late one night after getting arrested for DWI. I was embarrassed and scared. Christian came to the jail immediately to help me get released. He kept me informed every step of the way and put my mind at ease. He got me a deal that let me keep my record clean of a DWI, keep my license, and my job. I'd recommend him to anyone that needs help with a criminal case. He's a great person and a great attorney!

Christian was very motivated to help me and always looked at the issue with different angles. He is a very smart and out-going man and very polite and friendly. He made me feel comfortable in knowing I was in good hands. He stayed opptimistic but realistic at the same time and it was great working with him.

I'm glad that I hired Christian to help me to become the legal guardian of my developmentally disabled brother. Although there were some complexities involving laws in more than one state, he managed every aspect well. His prompt replies to questions and consistent updates gave me the assurance that my case was being handled in a professional manner. Many thanks, Christian!

I worked with Christian for a traffic ticket I received for crossing a double yellow line while getting into a turn lane. In my haste, I did not notice the police officer who had unbeknownst to me been having a bad morning... bad enough to give me a ticket.
Christian, having a knowledge of the court room and familiarity with the law was able to work with the prosecutor and the judge to get me a stay of adjudication (keep the ticket off my record).
Since them, he has been very helpful in counseling me on other minor traffic infractions (not that I get them all the time, but enough to prompt a question every now and then... However, it should be known that his first response will usually be "You shouldn't have done that."
