My wife and i were referred to Jessica Kim by a good friend. We consulted with Jessica about our case back in 2016. At that time, we did not move forward with the case. However, both my wife and I were impressed with Jessica's knowledge of child custody as well as her ability to convey that too us in a way that we understood.
A year later, June of 2017, a window opened up for us with new information and we went back to Jessica. Even though it was basically at the last minute, Jessica was able to work us into her schedule that afternoon.
We sat down and laid out the background and the details of the situation. She felt that we had a good chance for a favorable outcome with this new information. We hired her as our attorney.
During the next 9 months, Jessica was very thorough in her research and her preparedness for each court hearing. She was very professional in her demeanor and speech.
She was very well educated with the Hennepin County Family Courts and helped us to navigate our way through them.
I am convinced Jessica was the main reason for our successful outcome.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a great attorney!

I was referred to Oney Kim LLC., by a friend who had worked professionally with Jessica and her partner, Julie. I initially worked with Julie but my case was extended and when she went on maternity leave, Jessica took over. The transition was smooth and Jessica took the time to meet with me (at no charge) to make sure she had a full understanding of my perspective in addition to the facts of the case. My case was challenging and lengthy. Throughout the process Jessica was very communicative with me and multiple times did extensive research to ensure I received the best possible outcome. When I would reach out to her via email, I would typically have a response very promptly, typically within 1-4 hours, never beyond 24 hours. I understand this is not as common from what I have heard from other friends dealing with lawyers and family court.
