I once read there are two kinds of lawyers; those who use their knowledge of the law to make other people's lives easier, and parasites. Zeshan Usman made our lives easier. When a lawsuit was filed against us for a medical bill we were unable to pay we received two flyers in the mail from attor...neys reaching out to offer assistance. We answered the one which was better written and more detailed about the services which were offered—this led us to Mr. Usman. From the initial consultation through the filing process to the final conference with the bankruptcy counselor, Mr. Usman was highly detailed in his approach. He led us through every step and answered questions promptly and completely. He is devoted to his specialty and that showed at the bankruptcy hearing when it was obvious he had a rapport with the counselor handling our case. Questions we would have had trouble answering for ourselves were handled through a few abbreviated half sentences exchanged between the counselor and Mr. Usman. (It is noteworthy Mr. Usman was with us at our hearing. Of the other four people waiting to go through their hearings we were the only ones with professional representation. It was a very comforting feeling.) One of the things I personally respect about him is how he runs his business for efficient functionality—not to fulfill the need to maintain an "appearance." His small office is bare, just a work station and a couple of chairs for his clients. With a computer and the Internet he doesn't need a secretary and a wall full of law books. So he does not have them. And the cost? Lawyers aren't cheap. We were in financial trouble already and couldn't afford to splurge. But I feel we received excellent value for the services we received. And his payment was bundled into the arrangement we made with the bankruptcy court so paying it was pretty painless. Since our filing we have our lives back without constant calls from creditors. Our finances are organized so we can begin to build a future we couldn't see six months ago. We have less stress and can keep up with our current obligations. So in a way, Mr. Usman's services seem pretty cheap by comparison. My wife and I both highly recommend Zeshan Usman for anybody who needs to handle a debt issue. He'll take care of everything.

Mr. Usman helped my older family member respond appropriately to an aggressive debt collector. She did not understand how to complete the required paperwork and was dodging the debt collector's calls. When it reached the point of a possible court appearance, we called for help. It was the weekend b...ut Mr. Usman returned our call within a few hours, listened to our concerns and clearly explained our options. The matter was resolved in less than a week. He brushed off my previous mistakes to focus on my current situation and how he could help. His fee to negotiate with a creditor was extremely reasonable for the amount of debt I was in. In the end he was able to negotiate a settlement that was a 1/3 of the creditors initial settlement offer. I'm sure your mileage will vary based on your situation, but I firmly believe that there's no way they would have accepted the same offer from me without Zeshan's representation.
