Great Lawyer that truly cares

Shannon represented me in a child support and maintenance case. Shannon handled my case with with dedication and showed a superior knowledge in family law. I have been represented by other representation before in family court and Shannon by far showed that her knowledge and dedication to her client ...is unmatched by any other representation I have ever received. Highly recommended.

Extremely thankful to have had her representation!

I spent a few years deciding on whether or not to get a divorce. When I had finally made up my mind to get a divorce from my then-husband, I knew that I would need an extremely competent attorney who would both fight for me and walk with me through the process of divorce. I had originally made an app...ointment with a divorce attorney from a big firm. Prior to my appointment, I began thinking about the kind of attorney (other than a divorce attorney) that I wanted to retain. I was afraid that I might be just another number or case with an attorney from a big firm. I wanted someone who was personable and who wouldn’t mind going the extra mile to explain the many facets of divorce to me. That’s when I went on-line and found reviews through Avvo. It wasn’t until after I read the review of another woman that swayed me to schedule an initial consultation with Shannon. I canceled my appointment with the attorney at a big firm and never looked back. After a few minutes into my consultation with Shannon I knew that she was extremely competent and personable. She took time to answer my endless questions and I also loved the fact that she has worked as a Guardian Ad Litem because I anticipated that there might be issues surrounding my children during the divorce. Her knowledge as a Guardian Ad Litem proved to be invaluable in my case because just as I anticipated we had to have a Guardian Ad Litem assigned to my case to oversee some crucial issues with my children. My case was probably a rare one in that it actually went to trial. Yes, I said that correctly, trial. There was no NBA or NFL money apart of this case. Just one extremely determined woman (me). I spent almost 13 years supporting my ex- husband’s military career and I believed that I should be awarded accordingly. Attorney Corallo advised me through the whole process and did everything she could in order to prevent the matter from going to trial. We offered proposal after proposal and engaged in many opportunities for mediation with my ex-husband and his attorney. Shannon was never intimidated and always stayed two steps ahead of his attorney. She also allowed me to make the final decision of whether or not to go to trial. Shannon stayed ahead of the game and often drafted essential documents ahead of his attorney. She was so patient with me and always made sure I had time to review documents, ask questions, and always made sure I knew what I was signing and more importantly she kept me aware of the impact both immediate and long-term. I found comfort knowing that I was not just another case or client in a big firm. I actually love the small firm feel of her office. Shannon always returned my calls, endless emails, and I even had her personal cell phone number that I had to utilize on several different occasions. In the end, Attorney Corallo tried my case during trial before a judge after several failed attempts to settle with my ex-husband and his attorney. She truly did exhaust every avenue of resolution before going to trial. She prepared me to take the stand, undergo cross-examination, and kept me calm during a day-long trial, even though I felt like I was going to be sick during the trial because of the emotional toll on me. She also always helped me adjust my expectations so that I had reasonable expectations. Attorney Corrallo’s strategic thinking in bringing in a financial expert to testify to my ex-husband’s military assets was invaluable. When the trial finally concluded the judge awarded me everything that I asked for!!! That would not have been possible without Shannon’s representation. I have already given her name and number out to a few friends and colleagues of mine who are considering divorce. While most divorce cases will not have to go to trial, it’s nice to know you will have someone in your corner with such invaluable experience and who will help you try and resolve your case in every way possible.

Shannon is genuinely compassionate and a powerhouse in the courtroom!! What I thought was going to be an amicable divorce took a turn for the worst. Shannon assisted me with a restraining order and then represented me in court for the De Novo Hearing and divorce proceedings. Most importantly, she st...rives to stay on task to keep the proceeding moving forward while looking out for your best interest!! I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney to represent me with one of the most difficult times of my life!! Thank you Shannon!!

I am lucky to have found my lawyer in Atty Shannon Corallo

Atty. Shannon Corallo helped me and represented me during my recent divorce. When I met with her, I asked if she could help me do it within a certain timeline and although she could not promise me anything, she truly did her best to meet the schedule. She was always approachable, timely, and very con...siderate of all my needs and limitations as a client. She worked with me with empathy, care and kindness. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and truly knew how to help me get through this very difficult time in my life. Divorce is not an easy thing, we all come from different life situations, but having a lawyer like Atty Corallo sure eases the process. I am grateful for all her help and would truly recommend her to those who need a knowledgeable, caring and compassionate attorney.

Paul Secunda

Shannon was an excellent divorce attorney who was highly effective in working out a fairly complex, but amicable, marital settlement agreement for me. Her knowledge of family law, and associated areas, is without parallel in my experience. She is timely, professional, and pleasant when discussing le...gal principles and case facts. I really could not give a higher recommendation for a divorce attorney. She would be equally good for either gender. She also has great assistants (Meghan), office staff, and other service providers with whom she has very good relationships (i.e., financial consultants and accountants/tax advisors).
