About me

Attorney Kritske is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of University of Minnesota-Minneapolis and a 1999 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. During her second year of law school, Ms. Kritske participated in the Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Person Project, providing legal assistance to inmates at Waupun prison and Fox Lake Correctional Institution. During the summer prior to her third year of law school she worked at the Brown County District Attorney's office where she litigated jury and court trials. In addition to working during law school, Ms. Kritske also participated in oral advocacy competitions. In the fall of 1997, she placed second in the Heffernan Oral Advocacy Competition held at Madison law school. She then went on to compete in Moot Court, the 1999 American Bar Association Spring Nationals, where she and her teammates were competition finalists and awarded fifth best brief in the nationwide competition.

Ms. Kritske's work experience after graduating from Madison law school provides her with a well-rounded knowledge of the law. For approximately five years she worked in labor and employment law, providing legal representation and counsel to public and private sector employers and frequently lecturing at labor and employment law seminars. She also worked in medical malpractice defense litigation, representing doctors' interests in lawsuits.

Ms. Kritske began representing plaintiffs' interests when she joined Pitman, Kyle & Sicula, S.C. in March of 2006. Her practice at Pitman, Kyle & Sicula, S.C. is primarily in nursing home litigation, where she represents the interests of the elderly population.

Attorney Kritske is active within the community. She has coached and judged high school mock trial teams in the past and is currently an Attorney Coach for the Hartland Arrowhead High School Mock Trial Team. She is a Leadership Milwaukee graduate and has held a leadership position within her community. She currently teaches "Business Law" and "Contracts for Paralegals" as an adjunct instructor at Bryant and Stratton College.

Ms. Kritske is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, and the American Association for Justice (formerly Association for Trial Lawyers of America). She is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin, the Eastern and Western Districts of the United States District Court of Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals and the Northern District of Illinois.
