My employer engaged unethical tactics and unfounded accusations in anticipation of a politically motivated layoff to encourage me to leave the company voluntarily. By leaving voluntarily, I would have forfeited earned commissions and the employer would have avoided a severance payout. Alan took... the time to listen to the entire situation and put together an all-encompassing strategy, laying the groundwork so we could file suit and recover what was rightfully owed to me if a lawsuit became necessary. However, his opening letter to my employer and subsequent negotiations with them were so effective that he was able to recover everything I was owed without filing a lawsuit.
