I'm just curious to know if someone can be sued over unpaid medical bills?
Yes. Happens all the time. But, If the medical care was due to malpractice then many times the healthcare provider will waive those bills.See question
Is $10,000 med pay coverage on my uninsured motorist coverage per person, or is it $10k max no matter how many were injured in my car? THanks!
Why are so many divorce attorneys answering personal injury questions?
Your policy will most likely say per person. Just a warning that the more of the med pay you use the more likely your auto insurance will audit the bills or send you to an insurance medical examination where they will try to say that any ongoing care is not related to this particular auto accident and Instead to some other condition.
If you have health-insurance it is best to use that for your care and use the med pay to help pay deductibles or co-pays for each visit.
It can get kind of complex trying to navigate this maze in order to put your best foot forward and ensure that you are made whole through all of the different insurance policies.
I would recommend calling someone for a free consultation. Most personal injury attorneys will give you an hour free consultation.
Good luck.See question
Both of my vehicles were parked in front of my house and a school bus hit both of them. I have it on video. Just wondering what I can do about this.
In Wisconsin you have to file a claim against a municipality within 120 days of the incident. So, be sure you follow our laws first - then take advice from attorneys in other states.
If the bus company is a private company you don't need to file this notice. In any event the insurance adjuster or the adjuster for the municipality should come out to assess the damage and give you an estimate for your losses. Good luck.See question
re marks still there, have police report, can I sue
You have the right to sue. Wisconsin has a dog bite statute that will give you ammunition against the dog owner. If there were previous attacks by the same dog you have the right to obtain double damages. Good luck.See question
Friend involved in a motorcycle crash due to unmarked road construction. In an ICU 400 miles from home. Should an attorney be obtained from their home town or from the area of the crash?
The answer is yes. Attorneys can get a license on a per case basis across the country. The important thing is to hire an attorney you trust who will be convenient to you and really knows how to handle these cases.
Many attorneys on this site are members of a national organization that will help put you in touch with great attorneys anywhere in the U.S.See question

The quick and easy answer is yes you are entitled to compensation. If you have not already and are in need of assistance from a doctor I highly encourage you to see one right away. Your attorney should be able to give you an opinion about the value of your case. What that means is what the attorney thinks a jury would award at the time of trial.
This website has a lot of good information and I'm sure you could contact anyone of the highly rated attorneys for a second opinion. Good luck.See question
