JoAnn Lois Barten

also known as JoAnn Barten

About me

I've worked as a full-service immgration lawyer since 1998 handling nearly every type of U.S. immigration case with Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS),  Department of Labor (DOL), Department of State (DOS), in Immigration Court, appeals to the AAO, BIA, and 8th Circuit.  I often fix legal mistakes of others or help with lengthy delays.  I provide consulting on the consequences of violating the immigration and criminal laws and options to overcome those violations.  My clients are global and I am available to meet by Skype, phone, and in person.

  • Craig Jay Peterson

JoAnn is my first call for consultation if I have a new immigration matter on which I need the insight of someone more experienced. JoAnn has a great deal of very focused experience in immigration, particularly family-based immigration matters. I've reached out to her on a number of occasions and my clients and I have benefited greatly from her input.
