As I am sure anyone can attest, you never want to be in the situation of having to hire a defense lawyer. I found myself in this scenario after an OWI arrest this summer. I was forwarded a few different lawyers to contact and I did reach out to three of them. Keep in mind I was on vacation, four hour...s from home and released from county jail on Saturday evening with an order to appear in court Monday, 48 hours later.
