We were thrown into totally unfamiliar territory when our son made a poor choice putting him in the criminal system. Mike Bartish was recommended by a family friend and upon our first meeting, we went from confused and fearful to calm and hopeful. Mikes's confident knowledge of the law was evident... and we soon gave our trust to Mike as we put our son's future in his capable hands. Mike had our son's best interest at heart, yet was always truthful, honest of the consequences. He walked us through the legal system, always clarified procedures, answered our many questions so we knew what to expect from worst to best case scenario. Mike fought long and hard and brought out some very good points in court. Mike was very professional in and out of the court. Our son felt Mike was easy to talk to, trustworthy, sincere, and made to feel like he was his most important client. We will continue to hold Mike in highest regards and be thankful he came into our lives.

I hired Mr. Bartish for my daughter. He never ask her what happened the night she was arrested for OWI. He did not obtain the police report until the day of court. He encouraged her to try for sobriety court but never told her what it meant. When the judge ask Mr. Bartish if he knew how to go abo...ut the sobriety court route he stated to the judge that he would find out. He did not fight for my daughter like I've seen other people on here say he did for them. Honestly I don't know that she'd have been any worse off if she'd represented herself. Very disappointed.
