I cannot speak highly enough of my lawyer Gerry Lykins! After getting arrested this past summer, I recieved his info through a friend who had him represent her a few years back. Mr. Lykins really went above and beyond for me. He answered my call on the weekends, was willing to communitcate through t...ext, and always kept me informed on what was going on with my case. He also only charged a one-time rate that never increased due to the amount of time he put into my case. Mr. Jerry Lykins is a fantastic attorney. He saved me and possibly my career from a disaster. I am from another state and I came to MI for a client visit. After having few drinks that weekend, I accidently entered the ramp leading to the wrong side of an interstate in Grand Rapids and was immediately... pulled over by a cop. With this information in hand, Jerry started his negotiation with the prosecutor for the next several months and was finally able to bring the charges down to CARELESS DRIVING with OPEN INTOXICANT – DRIVER resulting in virtually no penalty but ONLY a small fine. The entire ordeal took nearly nine months but at the end due to Jerry’s strong abilities in dealing with DUI, the case had a favorable ending. I strongly recommend Jerry to anyone in a similar type of situation.

This was a very positive experience overall. My OWI got dropped down to an impaired for a first time offense. Although it may seem common for first offenders with clean records in a tough community, I wouldn't have been able to do it myself, nor would I have felt comfortable. Jerry works in an off...ice of a trusted associate of mine as well so I knew what kind of representation I'd be getting when I found that out.
