I'm an attorney with significant experience in motion practice, civil and criminal law, and the administrative process. I have worked and learned in a variety of public settings including Michigan's 30th Circuit Court, the Michigan House of Representatives, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Washington D.C.
I currently serve as the Judicial Law Clerk for Judge James S. Jamo of the 30th Circuit Court. In this role I specialize in analyzing and providing the Judge advice on complex legal issues arising from nearly every facet of the law. I'm responsible for overseeing all appeals of agency and lower court decisions, all motions for summary disposition, and all petitions for post-conviction relief. I also act as the Judge Jamo's liaison to the public and the media.
Colleagues know me as an easily-approachable critical thinker who gets things done. I love working with and meeting new people, and believe that the best way to expand my experience and worldview is to listen to the stories that others have to tell. The career path I'm seeking is one in which I am best situated to help people, and to take care of my family.
I have a JD from Michigan State University College of Law, and I'm licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. I also have a BA in Political Science from Michigan State University.
