I called Kenneth after being referred by another attorney. The issue concerned breaking a lease. We spoke for several minuets. He was very helpful, even though he was giving free advice. After our conversation, I had a clear understanding of what my next steps should be. I would (and expect to) hire him to represent me.
Kenneth's answers are the ones I read first. He is direct and to the point and knows what he is talking about. He says what needs to be said in an answer that is short and easy to understand. I have learned a lot about the practical aspects of the legal practice from Kenneth and that's why I read the AVVO questions and answers.
I have been licensed and practicing in Livingston County since 1986, and received both my undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

If you have questions, please call. Many issues can be handled with a question on the phone, others I will suggest an in person conference for, particularly if there are documents that I need to review to get a full picture of the situation. And remember the addage: 'The only silly question is the one you don't ask'!

I'm pleased I could help and I HOPE the situation resolves without my having to represent you, but I'd be happy to help if needed. Good luck!

Fantastic Attorney
Mr. Zichi is thorough and very knowledgeable about every matter he has assisted me and my family with. He took the time to review my will and POA in detail with me and did not make me feel like any question I asked was a "stupid" question. In all real estate matters he has dealt with for me he has been prompt with his replies and is willing to go the extra mile to assure I'm getting the best deal possible. He is fair with his pricing and is willing to always go the extra mile for his clients. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Zichi to anyone looking for legal advice.

A Good Experience
Mr. Zichi was very good at explaining my new Will and POA information. I would definitely recommend him to friends and co-workers.

Kudos to Kenneth Zichi
As a personal representative for the estate of my cousin, I needed an an attorney who is knowledgable, responsive and trustworthy professional in Michigan State law. I found that and more in Kenneth. He did everything he promised, when he promissed and within the cost we agreed to. His fee was not cheap but very reasonable for the amount of work he performed and the guidance he provided especially when compared to my experience with other attorneys.
I should also mention that as a Maryland resident, we opened and closed the estate in Michigan with only one visit to his office, the rest was completed by long distance communication.
I can unequvically recommend Kenneth to anyone appointed as a personal representative for an estate in the state of Michigan. It would have taken me substantially more time and frustration with the legal process and forms reqired to be completed and filed without his help and guidance.

Prompt and refessional
Dr Zichi did a wonderful job explaining things, and was genuinely concerned about getting documents we needed rather than charging us more than necessary. I feel very comfortable with what he did, and why what the 'free' seminars told us was wrong for us.

Trust fund issues
He answered my question to the best of his ability , he needed to see the actual paperwork to given me a more accurate answer on my question. I will look into the legal documentation paperwork that was advised to do and go from there.

I am sorry you weren't completely happy with an honest answer, but I am always happy to completely review the situation if I am given the opportunity to do so.
I frequently comment that this is like going to a car mechanic and saying "my car makes a funny noise, but you can't look at it or open the hood: just tell me what to do to make it stop making the noise" and then complaining that the mechanic doesn't know what to do.
I hope you reconsider the 'average' rating....
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
What determines Avvo Rating?
Experience & background
Years licensed, work experience, education
Legal community recognition
Peer endorsements, associations, awards
Legal thought leadership
Publications, speaking engagements
Discipline
Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
