We felt like the weight of the world had be lifted off our shoulders after visiting with Jerold T. Coon. I had been speaking for about a year with GreenLeaf Credit counseling services after having trouble paying credit card bills. Mr. Coon reviewed several options for filing bankruptcy. We started with chapter 11 and wound up with chapter 7 because after he reviewed all our incomes and expenses he found we did not have any money at the end of the month to pay anyone. My husband and I are retired. I had just retired 5 months before we started Bankruptcy proceedings. I thought I had gotten the better part of the credit cards payed off, but I soon found that we had to charge our groceries and medicines every month because there was not any money to pay cash for them AFTER THE BILLS WERE PAYED.
