Looking for a great lawyer? You found him!

Mr. Norwood took my 3rd OUIL case that could have very well meant prison (again), and turned it into a $1250 fine. Seriously, I don't think anyone else could have pulled it off. I slept better knowing he was handling my case, you will too

Good Lawyer

I felt that Attorney Norwood was very good at representing the facts of my case. The outcome was good. Highly recommended.

Wish I could give 10 stars!

I had an OWI and another charge from 4 years ago. I had since moved out of state and they turned to warrants. It wasn't looking good because I was living in another state and couldn't personally turn myself in. The outcome was better than I ever thought it would be. He got one of my charges dropped a...nd a great outcome with the other. He answers questions quickly and clearly. I would highly recommend him!

Reduced Ticket to a more than reseanable citation.

Very Professional and polite to work with. I received two Tickets many miles from where I live and work. I am not able to get time off work at this moment and Matthew did everything over the phone. He had one dismissed and the other was reduced to a very reasonable Citation. More than I could have ...hoped for.

Worth every penny!

My husband was accused of a felony that he was not guilty of. The involved party, who was someone we've never known, "gave up" his name, which is a very common name, and claimed to have an affair with him, in an effort to save her own husband. The turmoil that my husband and I went through as a resul...t is something we will never forget for the rest of our lives, neither will I forget the night I received the call from the policeman who was driving my husband, the night he got arrested and put in jail, while I waited with my infant daughter for him to come home after visiting family in Canada. The police department did not properly investigate the case or look into evidence that was strongly contradicting the charge. My husband was not even in the country when the crime was committed and he has never been to the place that the crime was committed in, until he had to appear in court. We would still be suffering if Matt hadn't done everything he could to clear my husband of the charge. As soon as we met with him, Matt saw right through the charge and knew my husband was innocent and was determined to keep fighting until we won. After multiple trips to the courthouse, the prosecutor dropped the charges based on lack of evidence - my husband was cleared of the charge and Matt also helped him get my husband's fingerprints and criminal records expunged. Instead of just sitting around and waiting for something to happen, he had written a letter to the sheriff complaining that the investigator was not examining the evidence when it was shown to him and that he was not doing his job. The sheriff took action and the very next time we had to appear in court everything was taken care of. Matt is very attentive, focused, listens well, and knows how to approach the case in a way that best benefits his client. You can tell he knows what he's doing from his confidence and passion for his work. He called my husband several times to reassure him and to update him about what he was going to do to solidify the evidence and what his approach would be. He never talked my husband down for making any suggestions. Thank you Matt, I will never forget how you tirelessly and compassionately helped my husband and our family by fighting for us.
