Attorney Phil Vera has serviced our construction company's needs in a detailed and professional fashion when he assisted us with construction liens and breached contracts. We are extremely happy and satisfied with the services he has rendered and will continue to use his counsel for not only current,... but future needs. We have and would definitely recommend Mr. Vera to those in need of legal assistance! It's hard to find an honest, hardworking attorney these days - Phil Vera is definitely one of them!!

Like the reviewer from last March, I also had a difficult time with this attorney. I had two appointments with Mr Vera and that was it. We started getting the ball rollin with my case, but that all quickly came to a halt when he suddenly, as well as his assistant, Kelly, stopped answering my calls. N...either my phone calls/texts nor the 3 emails (within a span of over a month) were ever answered. Like the reviewer, I too thought something happened to him and figured perhaps that was why he stopped all contact (not to mention I became a little concerned) . But still, if that was the case (no pun intended), why couldn’t his assistant Kelly answer/return my phone calls/emails? However, that wasn’t the case, which tbh made it all the more frustrating. I even mentioned in my email that if he could not take on my case then just lemme know, then I can stop “bugging” him and look for another attorney. But again, I never heard back from him. That was in 2016, so I hope no one else (besides the other reviewer) had this occur to them. And I do want to say that Mr Vera was very kind and a wonderful listener and very informative and even offered me a deal with the price of his services. Which I was truly grateful for his generosity! Again, I was just perplexed when he did not get in contact after several failed attempts from my end.

I hired Mr Vera to help me finish my divorce case, which I had started on my own. He seems like a very nice man, but made me feel extremely rushed. I felt like my case wasn’t worth his time. He didn’t address property issues, or the sale of the marital home. Needless to say, my name remains on my ex... husbands home 2 years later. He didn’t include the request for me to switch back to my maiden name, like we spoke about. Long story short, I’m now trying to get my name changed, and forcing my ex to sell or refinance our martial home on my own.

Attorney, Phil Vera is an incompetent attorney. *He is out of the office more than he is in. *He failed to send documents. Documents I should have received after I hired him, I received 3 months later. After I hired a new attorney, the documents he forwarded were incomplete. *I forwarded te...xt messages that were vital to my divorce case. He never responded. *After 3-4 months of dealing with Mr. Vera, I stated "I felt like he was working for the other side. Not ME"! He was so offended he withdrew as my attorney. I never felt like he had my back. Also, I stated "Phil, you are on vacation more than you are in the office". He said , "I haven't been on vacation in a long time"! However, the week I hired him which was on a Tuesday, he told me he and his wife were going to Vegas on Thursday for a long weekend getaway. He had NO response to that. *I told him at the time I hired him that I am not computer savvy, and I could not access my email. He tried to help me fix that problem, but he couldn't figure out the problem either. But, I did not received any standard mail regarding my case. He totally ignored everything I said. *When I complained about him, he called me "Childish"! Does that sound like a professional attorney that my money is paying for his services? All in all, Phil Vera should not be allowed to practice law...anywhere in type of case. Again, DO NOT HIRE PHIL VERA!
