Mr. Howlett went above and beyond for my sister and I's case. He met with us regularly, went over in detail as to what to expect, and then fulfilled our expectations. He even has continued to advise us in additional matters. He truly made a very difficult case as easy for us as possible.

I consulted with Mr. Howlett and found I had questions about a month later. He was good enough to follow up with further information that put me on the track that I needed to be on. Unfortunately, his firm wasn't large enough to take my case but he did put me in a direction where I begin my search. I so appreciate his follow through with me even though I was not his client! Thank You!!!

Tom represented me in a Med Mal case involving a major metropolitan hospital. I had sustained injuries following a surgery that left me disabled and which cost me my career because of a 2 year, intense rehab program required to regain my functionality. I was awarded a substantial settlement because of Tom's tenacity, legal expertise and knowledge of Medical Malpractice. He was always accessible and very patient when explaining the litigation process of my case and treated me with the utmost respect. Tom was also compassionate and supportive. Especially during some of the emotionally draining times when I was fatigued and in pain. Words can not describe what Tom Howlett has meant to my wife and I. I strongly endorse him to anyone who needs legal representation, particularly in the area of personal injury. I know a lot of attorneys, some that are good Friends, but Tom flat out is the best!!!

We greatly appreciate Tom's hard work getting our case settled.
At times it seemed very daunting, but we listened carefully to his recommendation's, thought's and advice.
I will recommend Tom to anyone that I know who might need a Malpractice Attorney.

Our daughter died in a boating accident while tubing with life-long friends. This tragic and heart rendering accident involved multiple participants, boat owner and boat driver, with multiple insurance companies. Thomas did a wonderful job, forcing the insurance companies to present an acceptable settlement. The insurance companies tried several ploys to claim they were not responsible, however Tom was always one-step ahead of them. He used the law, the legal system, and negotiation to back the insurance companies into a corner, and force them to make an offer, they did not want to make.
I strongly believe we received the best settlement possible by working with Tom Howlett.
On a personal note, Tom was wonderful to work with. The lose of our daughter devastated my wife and I. Tom was very compassionate and understanding with my wife.
In summary, Tom is a very good lawyer, who knows the law, and how to use it, to obtain the best possible outcome.
I highly recommend Tom Howlett. He is a good person and a darn good lawyer.

Tom Howlett's outstanding expertise and exceptional efficiency in a legal malpractice/breach of contract ligation provided myself with a positive result in which He recovered a personal injury award that was embezzled/stolen from me from a former lawyer.
Tom communicated in plain English rather than "legalese"
to prevent misunderstanding and wasted effort. All my concerns and questions were answered correctly and quickly when needed.

When I was looking for a legal malpractice attorney, I approached a former Circuit Judge for advice.
"Who would you hire(?)" I asked.
"Tom Howlett," the judge replied.
"He cleaned my clock!"
So I went to "The Clock Cleaner."
The judge was right.
Thomas Howlett, was thoughtful, strategic, and most importantly, always prepared.
He took several months to review my case. He went through 15 cases of documents, looking for the facts.
Tom's assessment of the undisputed damages: Ten million dollars.
He got every penny that was available.
This is a lawyer of unimpeachable integrity.
Superior work ethic.
And a strategic thinker.
He called every Friday afternoon without fail to give me an update.
He returned phone calls promptly, and responded to emails within 24 hours.
I know the other lawyers that do legal malpractice.
Tom Howlett is in a class by himself.
He is what other lawyers aspire to be: Effective.
He prepares each case for trial, and he is a fearless litigator.
If a case can be settled for maximum value, Mr. Howlett will recommend what's in the client's best interest.
He will not settle a client's case short to avoid a trial.
If you have been wronged by a lawyer, your first call should be to Thomas Howlett, a specialist in Legal Malpractice litigation.

While I can appreciate Mr. Howlett's gentle and caring style, as a client, I eventually learned that the contract he used is not typical. Mr. Howlett would receive his fee only if I settled during mediation or arbitration. If, instead, I decided to go to trial, he would receive absolutely nothing. That means that, although I would have benefitted significantly by going to trial, Mr. Howlett convinced me to agree to a settlement that was only a small fraction of the value of my case. Personally, I was surprised that the lawyer whom I thought had integrity, chose this approach. Before hiring Mr. Howlett, I advise reading the contract very carefully and comparing it to other personal injury lawyer’s contracts. Good luck.

Can't say enough about Tom. The first thing that comes to mind is GRATITUDE. Tom was first and foremost just a kind human being, supporting us through the web of confusion related to my son's wrongful death suit. I always felt my wife and I were genuinely cared about, and that the legal matters were being handled by an extremely competent and effective person., While I've heard horror stories of lawyers not communicating with clients, not so with Tom. Communication was excellent and his great written and verbal skills made the complex process crystal clear. You CANNOT go wrong with Tom on your side and he secured us a settlement well beyond anything I anticipated.
