Kershaw, Vititoe & Jedinak, PLC, in Monroe, Michigan: Seek Justice. We obtain meaningful results.
I am a veteran of Desert Storm. I served in the US Navy. After I was honorably discharged, I went to college. I received my bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and my law degree from Wayne State Law School.
I am a trained mediator. Between the time that I graduated from law school and the time I opened my own law practice, I helped run a nonprofit mediation firm in Wayne County. There, I mediated a wide range of civil cases, including contract disputes, business-to-business disputes, divorce, custody and parenting time disputes, and many, many others. I use my mediation experience to help my clients.
I am also a trial attorney. I concentrate my practice in three primary areas: criminal defense, divorce/custody, and Ch. 7 bankruptcy. I care about my clients and want to help them obtain the best possible results. To that end, I regularly go to advanced trainings and participate in groups to help learn innovative trial techniques, so that I can advocate effectively for my clients in and out of court.
Practice areas
I defend people who are charged with crimes. I listen to my clients and I help them come up with strategies that will best assist them with getting their lives back on track. I offer real, honest advice and hard work.
13 years, 219 cases
I help my clients with divorce, child support and parenting time issues. Divorce is the end of a marriage, but often times it can destroy a family; financially and emotionally. It doesn't have to. If you want to use divorce to punish your ex regardless of the cost, I'm not the attorney for you. If you want to end your marriage and get on with your life, while protecting your kids and without being taken advantage of, I can help.

I am writing to endorse my friend and colleague Matt Vititoe. As a person, Matt is a rare combination of humble intellectual and intense all-out go-getter! Matt takes the time to understand the finest details involved in your case, so that when he goes to court for you, he can paint a vivid picture for the Judge that depicts you as the clear winner and accurately outlines the justice that you deserve. I speak from experience when I state that when you hire an attorney, you want someone who is well-rounded. A person who only knows how to bury their head in books and speak legalese can never understand your concerns at the level that is required for effective advocacy. Matt doesn't have that problem. Matt is unique in his ability to put his multi-faceted life experiences to work for you. Give him a call, you will not be disappointed.
