When I got in trouble with the law and received a ticket I was told by the officer that things would be fine the court would understand. Then getting initially arraigned in court freaked me out, they said there was a good chance of getting a misdemeanor on my record and put on the sex offenders list,... which would cause me to lose my job and possibly not graduate college.
