Immigration advice session
Helpful for the most part, but did not provide any information that was not generally available with a quick internet search. Thank you for your review. I am sorry that I was not able to answer all of your questions. I am licensed to practice in the states of Washington and Michigan and I can practice immigration law throughout the country. Although licensed in Washington state, my office is located in Michigan and I generally do not handle state law matters arising in Washington. Hence my inability during a quick 15 minute phone call to provide you with detailed answers about a family law matter in Washington. Avvo calls are a great way to get basic information about a matter but they are not a good way to get detailed step-by-step instructions. Before a prudent attorney can provide this level of advice, the attorney will need to spend longer than 15 minutes speaking with you and reviewing your documents. The attorney will also need to enter into an attorney-client agreement so that there will be an attorney-client relationship. My suggestion is to use the 15 minute consultation to get a general picture of the issues you are dealing with and then to enter into a formal relationship with an attorney to provide you with specific advice on how to proceed.
