When my mother died I was referred to Mr Linden to handle all our legal and probate matters. I found him to be attentive, knowledgable and KIND during a very sad and stressful time in my life!
My husband and I were not only grateful for his expertise but also appreciated his compassion.
It is because of this positive experience that I am taking the time to write this review.

Stay away from this lawyer office! Does not provide good client service!
Let me start by saying he did open and close a conservatorship account of a family member I was caring for, though the service was terrible. His office staff did not return phone calls promptly, are not very helpful with questions, and did not get specific tasks done in a timely manner. I never even had an office consultation with Howard Linden during the whole process. I assume the average person like myself has very little knowledge on how the court system works besides that it can be a slow and tedious. Never was informed of how the process works, left in the dark.
I was to first meet Howard Linden during the closing of a conservatorship in Wayne County Probate Court on a specific date set. When the day came in court, I was told he was not going to make it due to having a known scheduled court session up in Oakland County. Why I wasn’t notified of cancelation I don’t know? I was disappointed to know that Linden would have to reschedule a date since the judge residing over case would not take further action till he was present. Wasted a day off of work plus cost of parking. The rescheduled court date he did make, but never met with me prior. When called to front of court he didn’t know who I was or what he was representing me for in front of the judge. I had to speak for myself in front of court since Linden came unprepared. Then after dismissal, he told me to meet him outside of the courtroom. I had a few questions for him since I knew very little about court proceedings. He was very short and told me that his staff would be in contact with me in next few days. I was patient, but weeks went by without any information. Had to recontact the office to get paperwork sent in to confirm money spent from estate. It took a long time with unreturned phone calls and large gaps of time between requests for what to do next to end conservatorship. Thankfully the estate is settled, it took close to a year, what a nightmare.
I don’t know how other lawyer offices work because most people don’t deal with them on a regular basis. Though it seems to me if you pay the expensive fee you should feel like your case is a priority to them and given reassurance that they are diligently working on your case.
