Gary S. Fields disappears in the middle of Case!

Gary S. Fields disappeared in the middle of my case. I received a letter from the firm he was working which read, Gary S Fields no longer works for our firm and gave no details. After calling the firm reminding them he has a legal obligation to finish our case and to inquire what happened I was tol...d he was not currently practicing law? We had been working with Gary for over 2 years and in his mid-40’s he’s far from retirement. Currently there’s missing paperwork and the referred Attorney said there was very little actual work done with our case and we’re starting from scratch. There is a mountain of paperwork and depositions that never happened and now he’s gone and unreachable. This means more missed time from work to reconstruct our case, bills that are piling up. In hindsight we should have made a change a year ago, he was difficult to get ahold of and took days to answer simple emails but he was our Attorney and we were way too far in to make a change, now I wish we would have, stay away.

My bad experience may help you

As a Wal-Mart employee injured on the job, I expected my Worker's Compensation Insurance to cover my reasonable medical expenses including much needed physical therapy. Wal-Mart's Company doctor examined me at their clinic and put me in a boot cast to correct my fractured foot. Their doctor left me... in a boot cast with only narcotic pain killers and a restriction for my employer to allow me to sit as needed. No additional care was prescribed, so I sought out a highly regarded rehabilitative medicine physician who got me out of the boot cast and began a physical therapy regimen. My Worker's Comp. Insurance was cancelled, and I contacted attorney Gary Fields to help me regain payment of physical therapy for my foot. I had lost significant strength in my foot and walked with a pronounced limp after spending 1/2 year in a cast. Gary Fields told me to send my outstanding medical bills to him and he would get them paid. He told me that he thought that he could get me the physical therapy I needed, but he thought he could collect little more. He shared his personal experience with Worker's Comp. cases, and I believed that he would act quickly on my behalf. After nearly a year of outstanding bills, no therapy for my damaged foot, and 4 hearing dates to set a trial date were adjourned (Mr. Fields would never tell me why this occurred, or even if he showed up for any hearing to represent me). Many months have passed without my phone calls or e-mails returned. My medical bills are all in collections, my credit rating is worse, my limp has worsened, and my case is no closer to being settled today.
