I was referred to her by another attorney who indicated she was the areas best family lawyer. From my first conversa...tion with her, I could tell this to be true. Throughout the process, her law office was in constant communication with not only me, but also my ex. She graciously assisted her and answered both our questions, when she didn't have to. We did things amicable and Chanelle was in support with this, throughout the entire process. All emails were answered promptly and the lines of communication were always open. I never felt as though I was just another client, but that she genuinely was interested in seeing my well being protected throughout the divorce. I don't wish anyone to have to go through a divorce. And I know my circumstances are unique and incredibly rare. My divorce was for a short term marriage and should have been very simple, however many stressful emotions came into play causing anger and bad feelings. My experience with Channelle Kizzy was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Initially, she seemed eager to help and made numerous promises, but once hired, she became the complete opposite of what she had presented herself to be. She was rude, argumentative, and disrespectful when asked about leg...al matters, showing little patience or understanding. She took advantage of a disabled man and appeared to be compromised in a plot with my brother’s wife’s attorney, which led to excessive legal fees. Her behavior was unprofessional and dishonest, charging for services like subpoenas that were never delivered. She also misled us about the settlement, causing unnecessary confusion and distress. I sincerely wish this had been my case because I would have reported her to the State Bar of Michigan. I strongly advise against hiring Channelle Kizzy. Her lack of integrity and professionalism caused significant pain and suffering for our family, and I can only hope that karma catches up with her for the way she has treated her clients.
