Effective, competent, excellent

Attorney George MacAvoy Brown is an excellent lawyer. My Family hired him for a case. He was timely and easily accessible. He was always on top of our case, giving updates and guidance. In all our knowledge and experience of lawyers we have never met on like Mr. Brown. He’s in a league of his own. He... truly cares for his clients and knows what he’s doing. We thank God for Attorney Brown!

Not afraid to WIN!

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with George as my OWI attorney. This was a cut & dried OWI 3rd (felony) case with no loopholes, no gray areas, and nowhere to run. Add to it, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and driving on suspended. Is embarrassing to even write thi...s honestly because I was in so deep but yet I’m proud to write this review because I’ve never been so impressed with an attorney. First off, George was very responsive. I was in big trouble so naturally I was blowing up his phone & email with questions and concerns. George made me feel like he was taking things personally, like these were his own legal issues. Replies were prompt and confidence building. We didn’t have a “way out” so we were relying on 3 things. 1. My absolute dedication to recovery & commitment to AA & sobriety. 2. George’s diligence, integrity, and complete professionalism as a legal counselor. 3. My higher power (God) orchestrating the chain of events. I’m still so mind boggled over everything I can’t even really know where to give the full credit but George’s results were “miraculous” to say the least. I started this ordeal with a different attorney who was so neglectful and unresponsive and failing miserably in representing me with a completely different case that I was absolutely convinced I’d be spending a year behind bars. My highest ambition was that I would get Sobriety Court (which EVERYONE told me was 2 years of hell) just to remain out of jail, if I were lucky. I knew I had to hire a better attorney just to achieve “2 years of hell” as my greatest ambition. I did some heavy research which led me to Kyle Bristow (Bristow Law). Kyle was already overwhelmed with cases but confidently referred me to George Brown (Lewis & Dickstein Law) telling me that George was the guy I was looking for. Let’s cut to the chase: The outcome was so impressive that my bond supervision officer called me on the phone after receiving the information on my sentencing and said (and I quote) “Erik, I can’t even believe your sentencing. This is what I do. I currently have 200 people I’m supervising with felony DUI’s and similar charges. I’d say maybe 1 in 500 cases get a reduction from Felony 3rd offense to misdemeanor 2nd offense and never with no jail time sentenced. AND YOU HAD THE ABSOLUTE HARDEST JUDGE!” I was already feeling blessed (or flat out the luckiest man alive) but that statement from that call really confirmed to me exactly how much George had really done for me. He worked his butt off! These things don’t “just happen”. For those that read this review and are looking at deep consequences; I’m not saying “George is going to get you out of it. Hire George and you’ll get off Scott free.” What I am saying is that if you really want an incredible attorney that will fight hard for you, fight diligently and courageously, one who knows the laws, knows the system, knows the players, and knows his stuff - hire George Brown. I am not going to jail. I wasn’t charged with a felony. I have 24 months of probation that is nothing more than accountability to help maintain my sobriety. That’s it. George has been added to my “favorites” in my iPhone Call List. Guess who I’m hiring to help get my driver’s license back???? I think I’ll go with George! Added note; while we were standing in front of the judge in a full courtroom and George was pleading my case, the man sitting next to my girlfriend leans over to her and asks her in a whisper “where did you find that attorney??” Thank you George…, Erik E.

Attorney George Brown is an outstanding attorney he shows that he really cares for his clients I never felt more comfortable in a court room with this man by my side, He’s definitely not afraid to win and stick his neck out for his clients superior service, I would highly recommend Attorney Brown and... George Brown Review

In August 2019 I was charged with a crime that carried a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. I thought my life was over. I KNEW my life was over! I researched online for the best attorney in Michigan. That led me to George Brown. 5 minutes after I spoke with George he was on the phone working my ...case. The next day I drove down to meet him and explain my situation. He said to me “I WON’T LET YOU DOWN.” To say he exceeded my expectations is a giant understatement! Fast forward 2-1/2 years (COVID shut down the courts). For 2 1/2 years George kept me informed about everything that was happening with my case. Finally on April 7th 2022 it was time for my sentencing. I had mentally prepared myself to be in jail. George Brown was able to get me a sentence that involved ZERO JAIL TIME. The man saved my life, my family, and my business. If anyone reading this is in the situation I was in, and you think your life may be over, get on the phone right now and call George Brown. It’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made. Thank You George!

I highly recommend Attorney George Brown for any of your case, I’m felon and accused of CSC and he got it dismissed, Read Review

It’s so terrifying to be accused of CSC, Assault and domestic violence and I’m already a felon which made it a nightmare and I was looking at doing over 20 years to life in prison. The crazy part is the police, prosecutor, court and the justices system believe those allegations without any questions.... I found myself handcuffed and thrown in jail, thank god for Attorney George Brown. My Attorney George Brown was able to get me out of jail on tether, unfortunately few weeks after I was out I violated my tether and I was back in jail. I wasn’t worry that much on violation of the tether compare to the CSC, I was so worried and going crazy about the acquisition of CSC because I was a felon and I was looking at doing over 20 years to life in person with the allegations. I was living a nightmare and losing my mind, I wanted this nightmare to be over with, I did not want to lose my mind thinking that I’ll be doing over 20 years to life in prison, the good thing every time I talked to my Attorney George Brown he told me “I got it don’t worry”, he always walked me through every step of the way and made me feel strong and that this case is beatable. Attorney George Brown always responded to every text and questions I had and he even answered my calls on the weekend. Attorney Brown filled many motions to bring my court date sooner because they would put my court date two month after every time I have court and see the judge. I couldn’t wait for the court date because George Brown got me good results that benefited my case and I was able to take it easy on myself and not lose my mind. I did not have to go to trial at all, Attorney George Brown got my CSC case dismissed even though I was a felon when I was looking at spending over 20 years to life in person. I’m so thankful for George Brown I will always recommend him to anyone that have any case whether you’re a felon or not. Attorney George Brown have all the knowledge that will benefit your case and have your case get dismissed like he did with my CSC case, assault and domestic violence.
