Terrible choice

He no showed the first appointment. He also did not respond to my emails, did not return phone calls, and was very unprepared for my mediation. He finally called me the evening before. And then still seemed confused in mediation about details I specifically addressed with him prior. There is no way ...someone can be that absent minded considering it was a discussion the evening before. This may just be just his job but this is my life and my children’s life. His indifference during my mediation affected the outcome. I unfortunately have experience in law/court with my situation and this is the most unprofessional experience yet. Just for the record, this is the first review I have felt incline to write. Attorneys are very expensive and the clients case should be taken seriously. The whole situation was weird, uncomfortable, and did not benefit my case in anyway. There are far better attorneys for family law, make a different choice.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

A solid year and nothing still done with my case on getting custody of my 2 children and 4,000$ later all was done was a hearing from another one of his lawyers cause he was on vacation and 1 hearing from him and a lot of unecessary paperwork . His assistant Shannon was the worst person I’ve dealt wi...th threw a lawyers office period ! Just wasn’t impressed with Paul AT ALL! Very disappointed like he didn’t care about my family … all about the MONEY with Paul .

Hire someone else

Paul seemed very attentive to my divorce case up until the provisional hearing, after which I rarely heard from him unless absolutely necessary. He did not respond to messages or emails. I started to feel like he didn't have interest because my case was not profitable, and there were times we spoke... in which he was down right demeaning to me. Despite hiring Paul to help me through the darkest time in my life, it was clear that to him I was just a number. He then quit my case before it was over.

Be wary

The least effective lawyer to hire. He’s unreachable by phone/text. He only responds to emails and never in a timely fashion. If your question is urgent you will never hear from him until the answer no longer matters. At consultation he will look you in the eye and tell you he will fight for you but... he simply doesn’t. He capitulates to the other lawyers requests to a fault. After four or five years of disappointment I hired another lawyer. I couldn’t believe the difference. Prompt responses to emails, effective suggestions for strategy and quite simply, advocacy. With my new lawyer I got the first ever positive results regarding any issue in my divorce. If you want a lawyer to file your paperwork and cash your checks he’s your man. If you want an advocate to fight for you, you should look elsewhere.
