John Doe v. Anonymous Company

Practice Area: Personal injury

Outcome: Settlement for the Plaintiff

Description: In this case, a tractor-trailer pulled out from an interstate exit into the path of our client’s car. We successfully argued that a nighttime collision could have been avoided if the flatbed trailer had been properly equipped with retro-reflective tape along its edges. The lack of that tape and poor lighting at the intersection caused permanent brain injuries to our client. Using vision experts, sophisticated computer tracking and monitoring equipment, and a 35 mm film crew, we filmed different accident scenarios. We established that without the proper lighting and reflective tape, the trailer could not have been seen until too late to avoid a collision.
