Outstanding Divorce Attorney

Upon meeting Nancy, I immediately felt comfortable that she was able to understand the potential difficulty of my divorce case. Little did we know what the future would hold and just how challenging and complex my case would end up being. We ended up dealing with an onslaught of false allegations, va...rious CPO's and eventually a case of parental alienation. I will say that Nancy had the experience to tackle all of the issues gracefully and with the children's best interest in mind. She worked extremely well with the GAL in sorting through all of the testimony, details and the facts of the case that resulted in a change of custody. I can't thank her enough for her sensitivity to the issues, her patience with me, and her eternal optimism for the best outcome. She never sugar coated the possibilities and had faith in the system doing its job. Nancy fought for me and the future my children's best interests. I cannot thank her enough.

Unwed Dad fighting for Shared Parenting

I was referred to Nancy by a friend who’d retained her previously for a divorce/custody issue. Let me just start by saying Nancy changed my life. I come from a childhood where for a large portion I was a ward of the state. Multiple group homes and foster homes throughout my childhood and I experience...d more wretched things then any child should ever go through. Having survived that life and making it into adulthood I always vowed to be the best parent possible if I ever got the chance. In 2017 I got that chance. My son was born and I was ecstatic raising him. For almost two years me and my then split girlfriend co-parented amicably without any formal court order and everything was great. Going into his 3rd year of life the relationship with myself and his mom deteriorated and I started getting to see him less and less. Until eventually several months went by with only being able to see him for hours at a time. I felt defeated. Hearing how dads are generally treated in courts I was petrified. Theres nothing unfit about my sons mother, but also nothing unfit about me. Nancy understood that. Hell she further ingrained that into me. A father provides an aspect in a child’s life, and importance, that can’t be replicated. Both father and mother are equally important. So I hired Nancy for my son as much as I did me. She fought for every single word in my shared parenting agreement, literally. She Would stay up on the phone with me past midnight discussing my case. She answered questions, gave me direction and then followed up on results. She made it possible for me to open presents with my son on Christmas, to trick or treat with him on Halloween. Several days ago I was awarded shared parenting of my little boy. None of it, not the extra time I got in the beginning of the court saga, the holiday time, the end results, would have happened if not for Nancy. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You Nancy. As I write this review my sons asleep in the other room. There toys spread all over my floor, his half eaten snack is on the table, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

Always There When I Need Help

In 2014, with Nancy’s help, I was granted custody of my two kids. Nancy worked tirelessly on my case for years, as it is a particularly hard slog for fathers in the state of Ohio. I was extremely lucky to have found such a knowledgeable attorney to take my case back then. Anyway, the reason I am revi...ewing her now is because this past weekend, six years later, I found out I needed some very important old paperwork from my court case. Thankfully, I still had Nancy’s cell phone number. So, I called her hoping that she could help me. She picked right up, on a Sunday afternoon, and in less than 24 hours she was able to get me the paperwork I needed. She never asked for a penny for her time either. That is the kind of lawyer and person she is. I saw the one-star review left in January by an anonymous reviewer. That review doesn’t make sense and certainly doesn’t reflect what I and my family have seen. Nancy’s communication has always been second to none. She gives her cell phone number to all her clients, so I can’t imagine that anyone actually trying to reach her wouldn’t be able to. She always gave it to me straight about what to expect when I went into court (even when it wasn’t what I wanted to hear), and she never came underprepared. My kids live under my roof because of her counsel and they are thriving. If I had to do it all over again, I’d go straight back to her office.

Not what I thought she would be

When we fist met she sold her self to me. So I did what I could to get the money to pay for her. Art first things were great. I would provide her information and she would respond in a timely manner. There was a period where I went almost 4 months with out hearing form her. I would send emails asking... for updates on the case and provide more information to her I went over 110 days with no calls, no text messages or emails. She later in front of my wife disrespected me her client. Then in am email insulted me. She never believed me. Yes I did get a majority of my money back but what she did was uncalled for. She seamed not to really care much about my case. She could not remember important things that I told her. Very unprepared. her folder for my case was thin. My binder was 20 times thicker and with all kinds of paperwork. Things I provided to her. Nancy is a good attorney she just needs to start listening and believing in her clients.

Life Saver

Nancy was referred to me by a friend soon after I had moved out of my home. I probably waited two years too long, before moving out. But when there are children involved, you really try to make your marriage work. I finally could not live in misery anymore and moved out. It only got worse from the...re. When I first met with Nancy she was very professional and a very good listener. She first asked me to describe my-then wife. And she knew from the few details I had told her, what she was up against. Nancy also knew that my priority was my 3 children. I am a very hand-on dad. From then on Nancy defended me and supported me like I was part of her family. She knew I only wanted to be a good dad and spend as much time with my three children as possible. Unfortunately, the divorce drug on for two years. All along, Nancy helped me stay positive and never left my side. My then-wife really only wanted to financially ruin me and she practically did. I am not sure how I would have survived, had I not had Nancy representing me and essentially securing my future with my children. I highly recommend Nancy Dameron-Frazier.
