Phenomenal attorney

I got an OVI in Oct. 2016 and did not realize that when my OVI was settled, the driving privileges I had until that point had to be re-approved (in other words, my driving privileges were revoked after the OVI was settled until the judge approved new driving privileges.) I accidentally backed into an...other car while my driving privileges were revoked, so I was charged with Driving under OVI Suspension, Improper Backing, and Leaving the Scene. Mark got the prosecutor to drop everything except Leaving the Scene, which means that I had no additional penalties except court costs. He was incredibly responsive, responding to my many questions within a couple hours, and very honest about the charges and penalties that I was facing. Also, he's not too hard to look at. ;) I highly recommend him to anyone facing a scary situation.

Don't waste your money or freedom

I would not recommend this lawyer for anything. I paid him a 1000.00 and all he did was show up at court. He has no ideal what he is doing. if you have not committed a crime he will use the scare tactic to convince you to plea to a lesser charge. All he truly did was filed that he was the lawyer and... then showed up to court. The plea he convinced his client to plea to was the same of what a public defender would have done. So don't waste your money. I should of figured it out when he did not want to see his client before court.

Debra, Thanks for for your comments. If you recall you were not event the client. Your son, was facing a domestic violence charge which is a misdemeanor of the 1st degree. It is punishable by up to 6 months in jail, Further, upon conviction it can be used to enhance a subsequent domestic violence charge to a felony. Finally, it is a crime of violence, it is not expungeable and will prohibit him from owning a firearm. Ultimately, the charge was reduced to disorderly conduct which is a misdemeanor of the 4th degree, is eligible to be expunged and is not a crime of violence. The sentence of the court included no jail time and a minimal fine, anger management class due to your son's alleged actions and a drug assessment as the allegations that drugs were involved. The discovery was reviewed with your son and all his questions were answered. He made a decision knowingly, intelligently and of his own free will to enter into the plea offer from the State of Ohio. Had you come to court to support your son, I could have reviewed everything with you provided that your son would allow it. Then you could have an informed understanding of the occurrences prior to offering your review from a removed third party position. I wish you the best in the future. Thank you. Mark Wieczorek

Highly recommend

Mark represented me exceptionally well. His knowledge and skill was priceless. I feel he really put the maximum effort towards my case and my outcome was the best scenario i could have imagined. I would recommend him to anyone going through an OVI charge. He exhibited professionalism , timely commu...nication, and expertise. Almost as important, I felt that he actually had concern for me and he treated me with dignity as a human being. I consider myself lucky to have stumbled upon him when searching for an attorney.

Mark was an awesome lawyer!!!!!

Mark was very professional, responsive, and understanding. He helped me both emotionally and legally with my OVI charge. As a medical sales professional, I could not afford to have an OVI offense and Mark did everything he said he would do for me. I would highly recommend him to friends or fam...ily if needed in the future.

Mark Jon Wieczorek

Mark was not only an excelent attorney, but he went above and beyond what a traditional attorney would do for anyone, and he did it for me during a very difficult period in my life. Mark was a straight shooter, well prepared, professional, and treated our relationship as a partnership rather than d...ictating what I should do. Another quality that Mark has is that he truly cares. He was not only my attorney, but he was a mentor, confidant, and a positive influence on me during what is the most difficult times in my life. I also consider Mark a "Friend" which is not a lot of people can say about their attorney. No matter how bad things seemed, Mark always had a positive attitude. I cannot say enough about Mark, but here is an example of the character of person that he is. For several reasons I could not drive to my court date, Mark drove over 40 miles out of his way, on his own time, to pick me up and take me to my court proceeding. The conclusion of the proceedings were above my greatest expectations. When I addressed the judge, he commented "The only reason you are getting the reduced sentence / rehabilitation opportunity, is because of how your counsel represented you. I cannot thank Mark enough for what he did for me - I am extemely grateful and will always be. Mark saved me, but more importantly my family, from great hardship due to his ability to access the situation, work with me to put a game plan together, and then utilize his relationships in the industy to produce the higher than expected results. One last comment on Mark, when we were leaving the court area, a man approached him who had been served with a restraining order, he asked Mark if he was an attorney, which he replied yes. I knew that this individual did not have the means to hire Mark, and he did too, however he took the time to listen to the distraught gentleman and gave him some solid advice on how to proceed, what to look out for, and what the next steps would be, all the while he needed to get to his next court appointment. Most attorney's would have walked right past this guy, Mark took the time to listen and help him out, knowing full well he would not be able to afford him. In closing, I highly recommend Mark, he is extremely competent, down to earth, straight shooter, and generally has your best interest in mind.
