I am a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and founder of Godbey Law LLC. Our law firm is a full service firm, serving clients in Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Our seven attorneys have over 100 years of combined experience. They are supported by an experienced staff of paralegals and legal assistants.

I'm so thankful I met and got to work with the whole Godbey family. I was treated like a lady, not looked down upon per my situation, and truly was helped with every aspect of the bankruptcy! You Should Definitely Call Mr. Godbey!
Mr. Godbey has represented my family members for more than 15 year on a number of matters including probate, real estate negotiations, estate planning, tenant eviction representation, city building condemnation and sadly in once case criminal traffic (not me-lol). In all situations he resolved them with stellar results and excellent client service. I recommend talking to him about any legal matter you have. You will not regret it!

It is so refreshing to be treated with respect and with a high level of customer service. The Godbey staff treated me with high regard. I have to say that Mark has always been there when I needed him for legal help. Whether it be for a consultation or actual legal issues, he is always there to help. He has even come to me when I was not able to get to his office. I can only say positive things about his expertise and straight forward advice. We had to fire him. Broke his promise to fight for us in court.Wasted our discovery time.Tried to backstab us when we complained
He wasted our 4 months discovery period by doing almost nothing. He did an inaccurate analysis of the depositions that he took on our case. He failed to inform us of our rights to a jury option. He refused to investigate that the defense and their lawyers destroyed evidence in our favor when we asked him to do so. We ended up firing him. His replacement lawyer pointed out numerous mistakes the he made in his initial complaint to the court and charged us thousands of dollars to completely rewrite it. Godbey did not know what he was doing. When we complained to the Cincinnati Bar on him 2 months after firing him he tried to retaliate by sending us a addition bill for $1500 and claiming that we were 2 months past due in spite of his office aide telling us 2 months prior that we were competely paid up. He told a replacement lawyer private facts about our case without informed consent by us and put a negative spin on it to try to sabotage our finding a replacement.Now he's moved to Lebanon!

This is completely untrue. This gentlemen, James Everett, went through 3 lawyers before me to try to get money from a relative's estate. To begin, he isn't even the client. He was acting on behalf of his mother and aunt. When he didn't like my advice, he fired me and hired another attorney. When he inevitably lost the probate case (Hamilton County, OH Case No 2005-002414), he then sued every attorney who worked on it. He represented himself because he could not find an lawyer to take the case. Mr. Everett's suit was thrown out on Summary Judgment (Hamilton County Case No. A0703437). Unfortunately, AVVO does not have any system of due process whereby such libel can be contested or removed. Despite my efforts, AVVO refuses to remove this false comment.
