Susan Lax is the first lawyer that I really felt that cared about me and wanted the best for me. she is confident and kept me calm when I was worried. I am very happy that she was my lawyer and would truly uase here services again if ever needed. here staff aslo cared about me. when ever I called... or e-mail with question she alway got back to me fast. This woman is not only an awesome lawyer she has a heart of a saint. I was in a rollover car accident four years ago and broke several bones including my neck and hip and Sue was able to take my case on full swing without question. I hired Ms Lax Several months after I was injured in an auto accident in July 2018. The other driver ran a stop sign and was clearly at fault. I provided all documents as she requested. Every month or two I followed up to find out status of the case. I saw a chiropractor for three or four months an...d showed improvement but not 100%. After doctor release in November, I continued stay in touch with ms Lax. She continued to respond ‘it’s coming along’ and/ or the other side doesn’t own liability. Long story short, case was never really worked and I got a call one week before the statue of limitations was up(2 yrs. later) saying She’s turning file over to Mr. Furtado as he’s a trial lawyer. She said they have to file suit and they wanted $325 from me to file. I paid her. Me Furtado filed incorrectly(not sure he’s still licensed). He stated the defendant as the claimant The case therefore missed the statute of limitation. They actually paid a low but no choice payout)me out of their pockets as the case dissolved and the other side paid nothing! Had I known she would back burner my case I would never ever had hired her!!! What a fiasco!
