Attorney Samantha “Sam” Ulrich concentrates on the practice of criminal defense and domestic relations law.
Attorney Ulrich is a passionate attorney who is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients. Besides her outstanding record as a student and young attorney, Samantha possesses a natural ability to relate to her clients with compassion that only equals her effectiveness as a strong advocate in the courtroom.
Samantha graduated from The Ohio State University, Glenn College School of Public Affairs with a 4.0 cumulative GPA. In undergrad, she also acquired minors in professional writing and political science as well as a public affairs specialization in community organization & civic engagement. While at Ohio State, Samantha worked as a Resident Advisor mediating conflicts. Prior to law school, Samantha was a Dunn Fellow with the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget during the year and a half-long budget impasse. In that position, she confronted a challenging political landscape and assisted in creating real-time solutions.
Attorney Ulrich graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law with a litigation certificate. Some of her other notable achievements were winning the CALI award (meaning she scored highest) in her 21st-century litigator course and being a member of Akron’s nationally ranked Trial Team for both years she was eligible. While in law school, Attorney Ulrich frequently held multiple jobs while studying full time. Some of these positions included: Research Assistant to Professor Bernadette Genetin; Teaching Assistant in Civil Procedure; Law Clerk at Young & Yeargin, LLC; and Summer Associate at Jackson Kelly, working on cases related to the opioid epidemic.
After being admitted to practice law, Attorney Ulrich worked for a small firm that focused on domestic relations and criminal defense practice, where she gained practical experience in these fields of law.
