Patrick Angelo D'Angelo

This attorney came Highly reccomended to me in 1994. It was literally the wost decision of my life which is still haunting ne to this day. Long story short i met a girl in a bar in the flats when i was 22 yrs. Old. We went back to my home had sex and i woke up the next morning with the police... at my door and she was gone. I wad accused of rape and charged with it. Mr D angelo told me multiple times that everything would be ok and this stuff happens all the time. being young and niaeve i followed his advice. I was never charged with a crime before this as an adult or juvenile. During plea bargaining he screamed in my face and said there was no way i could win at trial because i was a high school wresting champion and the jury would basically think i was a jerk. I never thought accomplishing something positive as a teenager would make me look like i commited a capital crime such as rape. After all i am an aggressive person however i was not trying to hurt or commit any type of crime. He pressured me into a 2yr. Prison sentence which destroyed everything in my life. I was also promised my him that i could have my record expunged 3yrs after i got out of jail if i were not arrested during that time and i stayed out of trouble. In 1999 mr D angelo attempted to have my record sealed. The judge at sentenceing also told me i could have my record sealed as well. Anyway i recieved a letter 2 months later denying my record be expunged. He told me that after my case was settled that new laws were passed stating that charges like mine sexual battery could not be expunged. Those laws were passed after the fact of my case. Now im not at attorney but the constition protects citizens against such laws. They are called ex post facto laws. ( its latin meaning after the fact) Another words you cannot impose new laws after the fact of a case. Our constitution is riddled with these laws due to what the king of england did to the colonists before our country became the united states of america. Apparently these laws did not apply to me. Needless to say it has been 20 yrs since my conviction. I have not even recieved a moving violation in my car since leaving ohio. Technology has caught up with me via the internet. I got convicted when the internet did not exist yet. Now today i am completly unemployable. i have lost 3 jobs in my life so far really good jobs. And i have been turned down for several others. So i will now exercise my first ammendment right to tell ppl to completly stay away from this attorney at all costs. We all make mistakes in life however in this country you should be punished like this for the rest of your life like myself. Im now 44yrs old and completly screwed. I have alot of skills training and schooling and cannot and will not ever have a good paying job again with benefits. So thank you Pat your awesome.
