Successfully serving the injured and disabled for 30 years. Experienced, knowledgeable and caring.Successfully serving the injured and disabled for 30 years. Experienced, knowledgable and caring.
I have been dedicated to serving the injured and disabled for 33 years, ever since I graduated from law school. This area of law became my passion when, in 1982, many people were cut off from their benefits without notice or due process. Once I saw deserving people being harmed because they were not receiving their disability benefits, I was hooked. It has been my honor to represent many deserving people ever since.
Over the years I have served as the chair of the Social Security section of the Cuyahoga Bar Association, chair of the Social Security section of the Ohio Trial Layers Association, and President of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. I testified before special Social Security sessions called by the Honorable George Voinovich and Stephanie Tubbs Jones. I have learned so much from these opportunities and have used this knowledge to help my clients. Hopefully, I have given back to the community at large as well.
Practice areas
I represent disabled individuals in the pursuit of disability benefits at all administrative and Federal Court levels.

Choosing the best lawyer is no easy task. You must find that lawyer who combines expertise in her particular area of law with the highest personal qualities. Marcia is that person. I know Marcia from 30 years of friendship. She is a loving wife and mother; she is honest and compassionate with friends and strangers alike; she is patient yet assertive when it’s required; and she gives her clients her best. Without question, Marcia would be my first choice if I were looking for a disability attorney.
