After using a highly recommend SSDI attorney with dismal results a friend of mine recommended Marcia. Immediately she expressed confidence in my case. She and her staff represented me through 3 appeals on my initial application all the way to the Federal level. Also, we caught a huge mistake that the Social Security folks denied one appeal because they claimed we missed a deadline. Really, thought, we made the deadline and the Social Security folks actually whited out a date and typed over a new date. This is exactly why, unfortunately, folks like me need folks like Marcia. Meanwhile, she knew the SSDI system well enough to advise me I was eligible to apply for a second new application while my original ap made its way through the system. It was the second application, that was approved within 4 months that saved me from financial ruin. And eventually, the original ap was referred back to the regional administrative judge and we won that too!! I will be forever grateful to Marcia!

In my opinion, Marcia Margolius is an INTERSTELLAR Attorney! Forgive the comparison, however, she was like a Pit Bull who grabbed Social Security by the leg and did not let go until she got results. She was compassionate and understanding towards my wife and I. She kept us informed every step of the way. Even when there was no news she told us and informed us of her latest filings and requests on our behalf. She didn't leave us out, not knowing what was happening. If I was hospitalized due to my disability she was right on the spot. She really is worth every penny you may have to pay to get your case heard and settled! We HIGHLY recommend her and are so happy we chose her. That, in fact, was a happy accident in itself. I saw an ad for her and their firm on TV on night. There was no screaming or yelling saying, "WE'LL MAKE THEM PAY!!!" kind of nonsense. The ad was quiet, respectful and allowed us to quietly talk about it ourselves. DO IT! Call her and her firm. You will not be disappointed. I certain of that.

I just wanted to say thanks for the help you provided my sister with her social security disability appeal earlier this year. The appeal process was long and difficult, and I have a much better appreciation for the approach that was taken to build a case that helped the judge make a decision in support of her case. Hopefully you are as successful with other clients who justifiably deserve support according to the law.
My sister worked for 25 years, and contributed as a taxpayer before her illness became too debilitating to work anymore. Because her initial application was denied, and she did not have SS coverage for several years, my sister and our family faced many challenges. It has been a huge relief now that the case is settled and SS benefits are being paid. The results have been dramatic for my sister, and have helped her improve her quality of life. She feels independent again, which has lifted her spirits and enabled her to focus on managing her illness.

Choosing the best lawyer is no easy task. You must find that lawyer who combines expertise in her particular area of law with the highest personal qualities. Marcia is that person. I know Marcia from 30 years of friendship. She is a loving wife and mother; she is honest and compassionate with friends and strangers alike; she is patient yet assertive when it’s required; and she gives her clients her best. Without question, Marcia would be my first choice if I were looking for a disability attorney.
Michael Shapiro, Criminal defense Attorney
I have known Marcia Margolius for nearly 40 years. She is a consummate lawyer. Professional, courteous and caring. A former President of NOSSCR, she is incredibly knowledgeable about her area of practice and an exceptional attorney. Clients, opposing counsel and jurists acknowledge her expertise and professionalism frequently. It is without hesitation that I recommend Marcia Margolius.
