About me

Nicholas D. Laudato, a lifelong resident of Lake County, joined Wiles and Richards in 2011 after receiving his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University’s Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 2010. After graduating from Gilmour Academy he attended Ohio Northern University graduating in 2007 with a B.A. in History.


While attending law school Mr. Laudato was a member of the Moot Court Trial Team for two years and competed in the National Mock Trial Competition gaining valuable experience in trial techniques and tactics. Mr. Laudato pursued his interests in trial and criminal law as an intern at the Lima Municipal Prosecutor’s Office during law school. He also served as the President of the Public Interest Law Association at Ohio Northern University and in 2010 was awarded the Liberty Bell Award by the Student Bar Association as public recognition for outstanding law community service at the Claude W. Pettit College of Law.


Mr. Laudato has continued his service to the community, acting as an appointed public defender in Painesville and Mentor. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Social Security Disability Benefits, Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Law, Probate Law and Collections. He is currently a member of the Lake County Bar Association and the Concord-Leroy Area Chamber of Commerce.
