During Michael's 36-years in the practice of law, he has been a litigator. His litigation career began with his employment with the Lucas County Prosecuting Attorney's office in 1979. In 1982 he was engaged primarily in the defense of insurance companies and their insureds, in both first and third-party claims. Since 2007, he has broadened his practice to include business and commercial litigation, as well as representing an insurance carrier in the Keweenaw Bay Michigan Tribal Court.
