David K. Greer is a trial and appellate lawyer with experience representing clients in state and federal court throughout Ohio. David represents clients in appeals, criminal defense, civil, juvenile, and domestic matters. If you or someone you know needs a lawyer, please contact David K. Greer as soon as possible, because the time to assert your rights in court may be limited.
David has successfully represented clients by counseling them when they first encounter legal problems, advising them with regard to plea agreements, negotiating settlements, representing them at trial, and appealing their cases. Attorney Greerhas argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit several times, the Supreme Court of Ohio three times, and the First, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Eighth, and Tenth District Ohio Courts of Appeal.
Attorney Greer is a former member of the Columbus Bar Association Notary Public Committee, which administers the test for notary candidates in Franklin County, and hewill be happy to provide notary services in his office at no charge. David is a former chair of the Columbus Bar Association Appellate Courts Committee and four-year member of the Columbus Bar Association Professional Ethics Committee. David always carries with him a copy of the Rules of Professional Conduct, Ohio's ethical rules for lawyers, wherever he practices.
Despite his experience, and the fact that he has been named a Super Lawyer seven years in a row, including most recently for 2012 (more about that on the Accomplishments page), David charges a reasonable fee at $150 per hour, and flat fee arrangements can be discussed in appropriate cases. Although David provides consultation services, usually at a flat fee of $100 for an office visit, his policy is not to charge a fee for the reasonable amount of time necessary to learn the nature of the client's case to decide exactly what services the client needs, and an appropriate retainer.
