Represents Aspen Energy in Powell Ohio, though it may be on a pro bono basis as the owner of Aspen Energy Jon Peele, son of Lloyd Peele, former Huntington Bank executive) is too cheap to pay for counsel.
Aspen Energy made a habit of paying it's non-commission employees minimum wage for a small percentage of their total compensation. The larger percentage of compensation was paid in the form of mileage reimbursement that was never incurred. Aspen Energy provided mileage reimbursement forms and requird employees to sign and submit them or they wouldn't be paid. In other words, Aspen Energy was not withholding any payroll taxes as they are required to under Federal and State law.
