This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Public reprimand means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State gives the lawyer a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.
Mark’s comment: “Lawyer engaged in a consensual relationship with a client during representation. The Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct state: 1.8(j) "A lawyer shall not solicit or engage in sexual activity with a client unless a consensual sexual relationship existed between them when the client-lawyer relationship commenced." The Supreme Court of Ohio found that the relationship between the lawyer and the client did not effect the level of representation and the original charge was reduced”

I got an OVI in Oct. 2016 and did not realize that when my OVI was settled, the driving privileges I had until that point had to be re-approved (in other words, my driving privileges were revoked after the OVI was settled until the judge approved new driving privileges.) I accidentally backed into another car while my driving privileges were revoked, so I was charged with Driving under OVI Suspension, Improper Backing, and Leaving the Scene. Mark got the prosecutor to drop everything except Leaving the Scene, which means that I had no additional penalties except court costs. He was incredibly responsive, responding to my many questions within a couple hours, and very honest about the charges and penalties that I was facing.
Also, he's not too hard to look at. ;)
I highly recommend him to anyone facing a scary situation.

I would not recommend this lawyer for anything. I paid him a 1000.00 and all he did was show up at court. He has no ideal what he is doing. if you have not committed a crime he will use the scare tactic to convince you to plea to a lesser charge. All he truly did was filed that he was the lawyer and then showed up to court. The plea he convinced his client to plea to was the same of what a public defender would have done. So don't waste your money. I should of figured it out when he did not want to see his client before court.
