I was charged with OVI and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. I was in an accident and refused the breathalyzer, an action which carries an automatic 1 year license suspension if convicted. I met with Mr. Riddell and he could not have been more helpful or encouraging. After several court dates... in which he continued to work with the prosecution on a deal he was able to get a plea worked out. The OVI was reduced to reckless driving and the paraphernalia charge was waived. Additionally I was not required to attend any sort of weekend class for driving and I had no driving restrictions at all! My license was fully reinstated the same day as my court appearance. The only penalty was the minimum fine for the reckless driving charge plus court costs. This was a first offense for me but I could not have hoped for a better result. Mr. Riddell charges a flat rate in most cases and it was much more affordable than all of the other OVI attorneys I looked at. Needless to say I am ecstatic with the representation I received and I highly recommend Mr. Riddell for all driving related issues.
