Made many careless errors and missed several filing deadlines. He showed up at court with bloodshot eyes and did not seem to know what was going on. Repeatedly missed filing deadlines and "forgot" to make discovery request. Would promise to complete motions by "the end of the week", but even with repeated follow up, still would take several MONTHS to ultimately complete the job he was paid in advance to perform. His lack of professionalism ended... up costing me thousands of additional dollars and added a year to the divorce process. I finally wised up and retained a different attorney.

Extremely unprofessional. Would have his children running around the office during appointments and leave to smoke during appointments. He spent much of my retainer complaining about his own marriage/divorce, financial problems, and malpractice suits filed against him. He would ask me to stop at the ...store and run errands for him before coming to his office.

I hired Mr Scheeler for my divorce. He was always looking out for the best interest of myself and my children. Even when I thought I wanted to do one thing that was in my best interest, he always explained to me why there was a better choice. Now that I look back, he was absolutely right. Mr Sche...eler's expertise is priceless to his client. I pity the opposition.
