I am a trial lawyer in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, and have been practicing law for over 32 years. I practice in a wide variety of fields, including criminal defense, attorney and judicial misconduct defense, DUI law, traffic tickets and citations, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and prescription pill defense, personal injury, bankruptcy, wills trusts and probate, administrative law, divorce, child custody, supprt and visitation (including pet litigation), and the general practice of civil and criminal law. I have been lecturing both live and virtually on legal issues regularly for the past 23 years.

Estate Planning

Highly Effective Lawyer

Mr. Denison is a lawyer true to his word. He recently handled a criminal case for me. He told me from the beginning what the possible consequences could be. He was able to get me a favorable ruling that did not include any jail time. He was extremely professional and told me exactly what to expect in court. Felony case-DISMISSED!

10/10 is not enough of a rating to give this man! Tim is hands down the BEST criminal defense lawyer in the state. He tells you like it is, what his plan is and he goes for it. Every time I talked with him it felt like I was talking to an old friend. He is a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom! I don’t know many lawyers who can get a felony charge completely dismissed but I know he did. He’s honest and unlike a lot of lawyers he won’t beat around the bush. If he tells you he is going to do something, consider it done and think no more of it. He truly cares about his clients!!! He is more than fair with his prices and the quality of service you get is priceless!

Custody Case

I want to start by thanking Tim Dennison for all he’s done and the hard work and time he spent with my case. Tim is a very easy man to talk to and will “tell you how it is.” I had a difficult time gaining custody of my dog when a relationship ended. That is when I sought legal advice and help from Tim. This man is a huge advocate and dog lover, so I knew he would be the best guy to take on my case. He was accommodating and persistent. He communicated well with the judge, opposing counsel, and myself. He took the time to explain to me what to prepare for and gave me straightforward advice that allowed me to see the real picture. I admire that when it comes to getting back my loved one (my pup)! All in all, Tim Dennison is a very smart man that will get the job done and will fight for what’s right. In my eyes, Tim Dennison is Louisville’s “real” heavy hitter. Thanks Tim!
